Precision Radiation Oncology Programme (PROP). The scope of the projects conducted under the premise of PROP includes 1) early- and late-phase clinical trials; 2) cancer genomics and data science; and 3) translational cancer and radiation biology. For this role, you will be mainly working with the Principal Investigator (PI) and the research teams under Theme 2. The projects involve studying cancer genomics of two main cancers, nasopharyngeal and prostate cancer, and the development of risk stratification models or identification of novel biomarkers for radioresistance. You will performs a variety of different activities related to planning, coordinating, and conducting multiple research studies within the overall scope of research projects in the Department of Occupational Therapy. The Associate Research Coordinator (ARC) will work with the Principal Investigator (PI) and Department of Breast Surgery to support administration of the compliance, financial and various operational aspects of clinical studies.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in all aspects of study operations for clinical studies.
• Take patient consent in clinic, as well as collect tissue and blood samples for clinical study,
• Manage grant coordination and submission and any other duties assigned by PI.
• Setup and maintain the clinical database.
• Collaborate with PI to prepare materials required for institutional review board (IRB).

• Diploma in life sciences or a related field.
• Proficiency in phlebotomy is a bonus (not required).
