The Hotel Duty Manager will assist the Front Office Manager to ensure the smooth operations of the Front Office Department.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise Guest Service Agent, Communications Officers, Cashiers and Bellman to ensue smooth running of Front Desk.
• Provide excellent guest services to all guests making their enquiries at the Front Office counters.
• Escort VIP guests to their rooms and show them the amenities within the rooms.
• Ensure that the availiability of rooms are closely monitored to make the needs of the operations.
• Assists all guests in their check in and check out registration and make them feel comfortable at all times.
• Provide customer service guidance and training to all newly joined Front Desk Officer during their initial working period.
• Provide concierge services to the guests during their stay with the Hotel.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Possess Certificate/Diploma in Hotel Accommodation from SHATEC or any local training institutions.
• Possess at least 2 years of experience in the same capacity in the Hotel industry.
• Excellent customer service skills in handling large group check in and check out services.

Job Description

• Provide excellent customer service to handle general incoming billing and account inquiries, and resolve customer’s concern.
• Verify and process applications such as account opening, closing, and modification.

Our client is a Japanese bank looking to expand its operations in Singapore. They are currently looking for a Compliance Manager to join them.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, supervise and manage the AML/KYC
• Assess the key compliance risks that the bank faces and establish the steps to address them
• Monitor rules and guidance issued by the MAS and other regulators to ensure that the branch’s business activities comply with regulatory requirements; provide regular briefings to senior management
• Monitor other legal requirements relevant to the branch’s activities and implement and maintain the necessary internal procedures
• Manage issue involving management or persons with major responsibility within the branch and the status of any associated investigations or other actions being taken in the aspects of Compliance & Material Compliance Violations

The Senior Assistant Manager, Media Relations is to source newsworthy and impactful stories across the University in the areas of education, research and innovation, with a focus on science communication, and to conceptualise and develop communciation plans that result in sustained and positive publicity for the University.

With a strong nose for news and the abilty to sift through information, you are to translate NTU’s research discoveries and innovations into positive stories in local and international media and the University’s various communication platforms.

A versatile and passionate communicator, you are to develop communication plans for media publicity projects that may include new corporate initiatives and announcements, launch of academic and research programmes, and various achievements by the University and the NTU community to engage the University’s stakeholders.

• Assist as a School Risk Management Champion and in the Risk Assessment for the School.
• Serve as a Fire Safety Coordinator in School to organize annual fire safety inspection, ensure that the Fire Emergency Plan is abided by all staff and update contact details of Fire Safety Committee members and wardens.
• Attend and scribe meeting minutes as necessary.
• Attend various internal and external meetings as requested.
• Serve as backup for Assistant Director during her absence.
