1. Provide End-User Support

Job Responsibilities

Reporting to the Principal Manager, Adoption and Acceleration, this position works with the various Programme Managers (PMs) in meeting the centre’s objectives to advance the development, proliferation, and adoption of proven innovative learning solutions. The appointee should be familiar with the innovation life cycle and management, possessing a strong business acumen and critical ability to fuse learning technology and pedagogical knowledge. The appointee should also be familiar with the training and adult education landscape and is adept at leveraging market and business-related research studies to meet the centre’s objectives.

Key activities related to these responsibilities include:
1. Work with PMs to strategise, develop and implement plans to proliferate adoption of proven learning innovations.
2. Contribute to developing new programmes and improving the centre’s programme(s).
3. Engage organisations to interest them in embarking on innovation efforts and onboard them by providing them with the necessary support and advise to help them achieve their innovation objectives.
4. Provide advisory services and support to organisations interested in adopting promising innovations and ensuring successful adoption(s).
5. Evaluate outcomes and impact at the end of individual projects.
6. Additional duties may be assigned, and functions may be modified, according to business needs and industry developments.

Requirements

• A master's or bachelor’s degree, preferably in the Social Sciences, innovation and/or business management, education technology, or learning sciences.
• Minimally 5-8 years of working experience, preferably in operationalising incubation or acceleration programmes, adult learning and training sectors, or a related role in business-related and market research, project and contract management. Any combination of these areas is a strong plus.
• Demonstrate the ability to work effectively with stakeholders, possessing strong communication skills (written and verbal) to engage and influence stakeholders of all levels of seniority.
• Possess prior experience in at least one of the areas of responsibilities listed above.
• Enjoy experimenting with ideas while managing risks and managing their potential impact on programmes, systems and processes
• Possess strong project management skills to meet agreed deliverables and desired outcomes.
• Posses tech and data savviness – familiar and comfortable with data visualisation and analytics tools (eg Excel, Tableau, PowerBI) with the ability to distil data into insights for decision making.
• Demonstrate strong systems thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to connect the dots to develop a deeper appreciation of current and emerging key issues and exercising good judgement to provide sound recommendations.
• Possess an ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Demonstrate an ability in meeting deadlines and delivering on KPIs.

Job Description

Reporting to the Principal Manager, Innovation Support Services, this position is to support the administration and management of grants and financial and administrative matters of the Innovation Centre.

Key activities related to these responsibilities include:

1. Manage efficiently and effectively the management and disbursement of grants offered through IC’s programmes. This includes but is not limited to duties involving verifying and reviewing budget proposals, processing budget variation requests, verifying fund disbursement requests, and processing fund disbursements.
2. Ensure proper record keeping and compliance with all grant governance, finance, and auditing requirements.
3. Administer and manage contracts.
4. Support the centre in matters relating to finance and administration (e.g., division’s budget preparation and tracking of budget expenses and utilization, division’s procurement, etc.). This includes financial analysis, preparation and consolidation of documents for management reporting.
5. Participate in the planning and/or organising of IC’s events and activities, when required.
6. Support the maintenance of the IC’s microsite.
7. Any other duties, including cross divisional projects or events, that may be assigned by the management from time to time to meet the needs of the organisation and changing environment

He/She will be responsible for conversion of signal processing concepts (theoretical or prototyped in MATLAB or C-Language) into algorithms to be implemented into embedded DSP or ARM processors. He/she will also work together with audio research team members to evaluate, benchmark internally developed cutting edge proprietary speech/hearing algorithms which will be implemented in a range of high-volume audio product lines for customers. He/she will be responsible for understanding DSP hardware structure such as memory management and processor pipeline. He/she will be responsible for DSP software development & validation including requirement analysis for algorithm implementation, support patent applications efforts and support internal or external customer developments.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, document and implement DSP audio software modules based on allocated requirements of the DSP architecture
• Develop novel DSP based algorithms for embedded audio systems
• Work with and particpate in research activities together with research team members on the implementation of speech/hearing algorithms
• Collaborate with Sales/Engineering teams in productization, verification, testing and patent application of newly developed algorithms
• Perfom Design and Code reviews with members of the development team
• Perform Defect Analysis and remove defects on developed solutions
