To further the company's growth, it is also expanding actively in overseas markets and is looking for a System and Application Development Assistant Manager for the Building Automation business line to join our team. You will work closely with our management team and will be responsible for growing our business in the Southeast Asia and India region.

Responsibilities

• Supports the System Development Manager and Application Development Manager to research, design, implement and manage software application programs for Digital Intelligent Building Management System in the Southeast Asia and India region.
• Designs and develops applications to realize enhanced building and occupant safety, enhanced occupant experience with reduced costs and increased efficiency.
• Plans, tests and evaluates new software application programs and identifies areas for modifications in the programs for quality assurance.
• Creates engineering manuals and documents to deploy the developed applications in the region.
• Trains and supports engineers in the region on developed applications. Works together with engineers in the region to execute project engineering and system configuration at site.
• Collect feedbacks from the internal and external stakeholders to make continuous improvement.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in engineering; experience in lieu of a degree will be considered for the right candidate. A degree in computer science is preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of programming experience in practical job is required.
• Programming knowledge of Python/Java script/etc
• Strong interest for AI/ML, Digital Twin and energy saving in built environment.
• Ability to communicate and read Japanese as the role requires a lot of communication with HQ and understanding Japanese technical manuals.
• Well versed in specification of Yamatake and Azbil building automation system and product.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Experience in building automation system programming preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for full set of management accounts for Singapore and Taiwan entities, and a few regional companies including consolidation of accounts.
• Manage cash flows and supervise collections/paymentsof these various regional companies the variousentities.
• Prepare monthly financial reports (journal, general ledger, trial balance, balance sheet & profit and loss).
• Handle intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
• Assist in yearly forecast and budgets.
• Liaise with the respective countries accountant to ensure local companies accounts are in compliance with local statutory requirements (e.g. statutory audit, taxation, annual corporate filings etc.).
• Liaise with external parties (e.g. auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents).
• Ensure accounting and internal control procedures comply with Group policies.
• Perform other ad hoc duties as when assigned by Supervisor or Management.

• Min. Diploma / Degree in Finance and Accounting or other professional accounting certificate or equivalent.
• Min. 5 years of relevant accounting experience in handling full set of accounts.
• Prior experience in handling regional finance accounting especially Taiwan will be an advantages.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with our stakeholders in Taiwan office.
• Familiar with Sage 300 and EPICOR is preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Description

The candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Managing Client relationships

• Managing 4 to 5 design projects concurrently in Yards (including China)

• Providing overall leadership for the project while maintaining a focus on achieving targets efficiently

• Development and presentation of project plans, respond to Clients

• Liaison with the Shipyard, Classification society, Vendors & Clients

• Weekly progress reporting to Client & Management

Desired Profile

Essential requirements for this position are:

· Technical/ marketing skills for shipbuilding industry

The candidate should have minimum 5 years’ experience in related role in ship design/ shipbuilding industry. Promising candidates with less experience may be considered as Trainees.

• Present findings in report format to appropriate personnel and explain how the new communications network will address current issues
• Secure all hardware and software required for network solutions or supervise network administrator tasked with securing all hardware and software

Job Description

The candidate will be responsible for designing and drafting the electrical and instrumentals systems of Ships and Offshore Platform independently. The candidate will interact with Clients, Classification and Statutory bodies and Vendors in the process of design. Candidate to be able to prepare the following drawings independently:

• Electrical Load
• Single Line Diagram
• Short-Circuit Calculation
• Lighting Arrangement
• Transformer Load Analysis
• Cable Estimation

Desired Profile

• Min 5 years’ experience of which at least 3 years should be in Marine Design.
• He/She should be conversant with Ship electrical system and classification rules and IEE.
• Skills in Excel, Electrical design software and CAD-tools is required.
