Job Responsibilities :

Job Description & Requirements

The Programme Manager leads a team of Programme Executives. Her primary role is to lead in identifying, planning, coordinating, reviewing and directing skills- and knowledge-enhancement programmes and services for WINGS women according to the strategic directions of the Society and needs of WINGS women. She is also required to identify, recruit and engage the women whom the Society serves.

This position reports to the Executive Director with pathway to the Executive Director role.

Roles and responsibilities

. The manager is responsible for reviewing and creating or selecting course content and materials for training programs according to the changing needs of WINGS women. Training may be in the form of a video, self-guided instructional manual, online application, delivered in person or through a computer or other hand-held electronic device. She must ensure that training methods, content, software, systems, and equipment are appropriate.

. She needs to review the quality of training delivered by subject matter experts and trainers to ensure that workshops meet Geragogy guidelines and lesson outcomes

. She needs to continually identify the training needs of women aged 40 and above through feedback channels and relevant research

· She needs to develop new programmes and services to meet the needs of women aged 40 and above according to the direction set by the Executive Director and members of the board

· Collaborate with other organisations such as government agencies, community organisations and training providers to develop training programmes and services

· Market the training programmes, including developing pricing strategies

· Tap on funding sources from government agencies or partners or stakeholders for programme development and new services

. Identify, recruit and engage the women whom the Society serves

· Lead and supervise a team of executives

In your role, you will be reporting to the Service Manager and responsible for service support of the company's portfolio of technical products for the Marine and Land based industry. Customers will mainly be based in Asia, but there may be assignments in other parts of the world as well. You can expect approximately 40 travel days a year (Post Covid-19).

Some of the core duties include:

• Provide prior and after sales service to new and existing customers.
• Perform field commissioning, installation, testing, servicing, repair, troubleshooting and calibration of instrument on board of vessels.
• Provide product operational training for customer operational staff at site.
• Advise customer whether replacing or repairing will be the better solution and close job.
• Handling of customer request with regards to warranty issues i.e. diagnosing and problem solving.
• Offer alternative solutions to service problems should replacement of parts be required.
• Provide telephone support to customers on products and technical matters whenever needed.
• Ensure customers satisfaction with the products of the company by means of effective service work.
• Manage customer expectations with quick, clear and accurate delivery of pro-active service, information and consultations.
• Support customer service team for any new projects or quotations and extend technical service support to Sales department
• Attends classroom and practical lessons if required and sits for the requisite qualifying knowledge and practical tests including new products and developments.
• Familiar with field instrumentations such as flow, level, pressure and temperature.
• Able to adapt to multiple cultures and interact with people at all levels.
• Ensure all service meet planned time, planned cost and customer requirements.
• Prepare service report and ensure service documents records are properly documented.

You should be a self-driven individual, who is comfortable working in an independent capacity. You will ideally have:

• Minimum ITE in Instrumentation and Controls or Electrical / Electronics Engineering.
• Experience with conducting service onboard vessels
• Preferable with 2 years working experience in service, repair and commissioning of process controls, instrumentation and analyzer.
• Professional education in engineering or related field, or similar level obtained by experience.
• Knowledge of electrical system in AC/DC Control as well as knowledge of electronic and automation is an added advantage.
• High organisational skills and ability to manage projects at the same time.
• Well versed in IT skills for example Microsoft Office Suite and Navision Business Suite.
• Team player but also capable to work independently.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including influencing skills.
• Fluent in written and spoken English with strong communication skills.
• Work independently and willingness to travel overseas at short notices.
• Ability to work under pressure, long hours, on weekends and public holidays (when required).
