As a key member of the team, the Finance Manager plays a pivotal role in steering the financial direction. This position encompasses a broad range of responsibilities, including the preparation and presentation of financial reports, strategic financial planning and analysis, and effective cash flow management. The role demands a proactive approach to risk management, audit coordination, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and tax laws in Singapore and other satellite locations (Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia).

JOB DESCRIPTION

Financial Management

1. Financial Reporting: Compile, maintain and prepare financial statements to stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, management, and board members.
2. Financial Planning & Analysis: Formulate budgets, project financial outcomes, and analyse financial data to guide decision-making processes.
3. Financial Decision Support: Partner with management in strategic financial decisions, ensuring alignment with the company's broader objectives.

5. Accounts Management: Efficiently process customer and supplier onboarding forms; oversee accounts receivable and payable to maintain robust cash flow.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is essential.
2. Professional Experience: A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in financial management or a related field. Prior experience in a Financial Planning & Analysis role is preferred.
3. Experience in Startups: Candidates with experience in startup environments will be highly valued. Such experience demonstrates adaptability and the ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced settings.
4. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, including experience in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting, are crucial. The ability to interpret and analyse financial statements and data for strategic decision-making is essential.
5. Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax laws in Singapore. This includes experience in compliance, tax strategy, and liaising with regulatory bodies.
6. Independence and Resourcefulness: The ability to work independently and resourcefully, especially in problem-solving and implementing innovative solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

· Manage a team of analog layout engineers, providing leadership, mentorship, and technical guidance.

· Oversee the layout design, and verification in technologies such as CMOS etc.

· Collaborate with design and PD teams to translate circuit designs into physical layouts.

· Ensure the team meets project schedules and deliverables, maintaining the highest quality standards.

· Conduct layout reviews to ensure design compliance with specifications and adherence to industry best practices.

· Coordinate with cross-functional teams for debugging, yield improvement, and issue resolution.

· Contribute to layout process and methodology improvements and automation.

· Stay updated with the latest technology trends and advancements in the field of analog layout design.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

· Minimum of 7 years of experience in analog layout design with at least 2 years in a management or team lead role.

· Proficiency in industry-standard EDA tools such as Cadence Virtuoso, Synopsys Custom Compiler and Mentor Graphic Calibre.

· Deep understanding of semiconductor physics, device fabrication processes, and layout techniques.

· Experience in managing layout designs for a variety of analog circuits, including power, high speed, mixed signal, etc.

· Exceptional leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and develop a high-performing team.

· Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex technical problems.

· Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts.

· Experience with advanced FinFET process nodes e.g., TSMC 5/6nm.

Responsibilities:

• Reports to Senior Project Director and/or Project Director.
• To perform all aspects of project management functions and to ensure proper post-contract administration
• To fully perform the duties and responsibilities of a Project Manager as stated in the manual from which some of the functions are stated here.
• To source for and approve the engagement of all reliable contractors/suppliers and to be involved in contractual agreements
• To provide daily work reports for management’s review including daily site reports.
• To be responsible for the profitability of all projects handled.
• To have a strong understanding of the SOP Act.
• To monitor/diligently make claims for work/services rendered to clients
• To be a member of the HSE committee and assist in the enforcement of the HSE rules and regulations.
