We are looking for resourceful and service-oriented individuals to join the Operations & Facilities Management Department which oversees the operation and maintenance of Government cemeteries, crematoria and columbaria. You will be stationed at a crematorium at Mandai and will play a key role in providing after-death care services.

You will be responsible for the following:

• Lead a team to work with the existing construction and consultant team to oversee the progress of the construction works and subsequently take over the Mechanical & Electrical systems/equipment and building facilities & structures in the various construction phases.
• Lead and manage a group of technical and operations staff in the safe and efficient operation of the crematorium.
• Lead and manage the maintenance team of the crematorium to achieve optimal maintenance standards.
• Plan and implement preventive maintenance and overhaul programmes for the crematorium facilities and equipment
• Manage operations for special annual festivals such as Qing Ming
• Review and monitor cremation processes to enhance productivity and service standards.
• Handle and manage feedback/appeals from members of public.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of working experience in environmental public health, or other fields with operations or service management in a leadership position
• Experience in the operations and maintenance of process plant equipment would be an advantage
• Able to lead, interact and foster teamwork
• Able to handle adverse situations and difficult customers
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, e.g. excel functions, creative presentations
• Good problem-solving, writing & communication skills

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, design, lighting, or related studies.

• LED experience highly desired or strong relationships in lighting design.
• Already established relationships with architects and designers is an advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal communications and sales presentation skills with a strong ability to foster rapport and brand loyalty.
• Efficient written, verbal and presentation skills with the ability to connect with technical and non-technical decision-makers.
• Able to communicate clearly and efficiently and respond well to objections.

Job Description

· Liaising with customer and handling customer inquiry and feedback

· Raise Purchase Order to Supplier, reviewing suppliers’ invoices and submitting to Accounts Dept

· Raise parts quotation to Customer enquiry

· Update Sales and Purchase Report for spare parts items

· Monitor and chase payment from customer

· Arranging delivery of spare parts locally and overseas

· Follow up with customers on status of quotations

· Order processing, generate delivery orders, Invoices to customers on timely basis

-Work closely with suppliers, customers to ensure timely delivery of parts

- Ad Hoc administrative work

Requirements:

· N or O Level /Diploma

· With 2-3 years of experience handling operation / customer service coordination

· Familiar with marine spare parts & products will be an advantage

· Possess good communication with good interpersonal skills
