Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced MEP Manager to oversee the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing aspects of our construction projects. The MEP Manager will be responsible for coordinating and managing all MEP systems to ensure they meet project specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. This role requires strong technical knowledge, project management skills, and the ability to lead a team of MEP engineers and technicians effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement MEP project plans, schedules, and budgets in coordination with the project manager.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems into overall project design and construction.
• Review project drawings, specifications, and documents to identify MEP requirements and ensure compliance with codes, standards, and regulations.
• Oversee the procurement of MEP materials, equipment, and subcontractor services, ensuring timely delivery and quality assurance.
• Manage MEP subcontractors and vendors, including bidding, negotiation, contract management, and performance monitoring.
• Provide technical guidance and support to MEP engineers and technicians throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to verify MEP installations meet design requirements and quality standards.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues or delays, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
• Ensure MEP systems are commissioned, tested, and certified according to project specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to resolve MEP-related issues, address change orders, and achieve project goals.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience in MEP project management, with a minimum of 1 year in a similar role.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, and fire protection.
• Proficiency in MEP design software, AutoCAD, and building information modeling (BIM) software.
• Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Leadership and team management abilities, with the capacity to motivate and inspire team members.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations governing MEP systems and construction practices.
• Professional certifications, such as Professional Engineer (PE) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM), are a plus.
