Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Infrastructure for company’s Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD) for company’s Digitalization eCommerce Platform
• Design, Implementation, Maintain Tools and processes for seamless integrations, and deployment of software.
• Ensure that smooth software development through entire life cycle – from code writing to production, error-free, and smooth.
• Work closely with developers, testers, and system administrators to facilitate communication and coordinate across teams in enhancing efficiency and productivity.
• Identify the manual process to design and develop automation process.
• Execute Service Request and Changes.
• Preventive monitoring of the health and status of the platform and systems

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 4+ years working experience in DevOps with focus on eCommerce and Automation process.
• Experience in managing and troubleshooting production environments.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams and with agile methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of Multiple Programming Languages, like Golang, Java, JavaScript, PHP, Python, Ruby.
• Strong understanding of IaC (Infrastructure as Code) principles and best practices

Job Description:

As a Network Security Post-Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality post-sales support to our clients, with a focus on Aruba, Juniper, and Cisco network security solutions. Responsibilities:

• Technical Expertise: Provide in-depth technical support for Aruba, Juniper, and Cisco network security solutions, including but not limited to firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, VPNs, and secure access control.
• Post-Sales Support: Collaborate with sales and pre-sales teams to ensure the smooth transition of projects from pre-sales to post-sales phase. Offer guidance on network security design and configuration based on client requirements.
• Installation and Configuration: Assist clients in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting network security hardware and software.
• Security Audits: Conduct security assessments and audits of client networks to identify vulnerabilities and recommend solutions for remediation.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of client configurations, incidents, and changes. Create comprehensive documentation for client networks and configurations.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Presales Consultant to join our team, focusing on IT Observability, Monitoring, and AIOps. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of IT Observability and Monitoring solutions and AIOps, with hands-on experience with key technologies such as Elastic Observability, IBM, and SolarWinds. This role is essential for guiding our clients through the implementation and optimization of monitoring and observability solutions, and for tailoring the right scope of work for services engagement to enhance their IT operations and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Expertise:

• Demonstrate deep expertise in IT Observability,Monitoring, and AIOps solutions, including platforms such as Elastic Observability, IBM Observability solutions, and SolarWinds.
• Provide advanced guidance on how these solutions can address customer needs, integrate with existing environments, and enhance IT monitoring capabilities.

Customer Engagement:

• Engage with customers to understand their business needs, technical requirements, and pain points related to IT operations, monitoring, and observability.
• Conduct detailed assessments and translate business requirements into technical solutions using observability, monitoring, and AIOps tools.

Solution Design:

• Develop and deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations showcasing the capabilities and benefits of observability,monitoring, and AIOps technologies.
• Create detailed technical proposals, including solution architecture diagrams and deployment strategies, tailored to customer needs and the defined scope of work.

Pre-Sales Support:

• Collaborate with sales teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities, providing technical expertise throughout the sales cycle.
• Respond to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs with detailed technical responses and solution outlines focused on monitoring, observability, and AIOps.

Proof of Concept (PoC):

• Lead and manage PoCs, including planning, execution, and validation, ensuring that solutions meet customer expectations and deliver tangible value.

Scope of Work (SoW) Development:

• Tailor the scope of work for services engagements by defining project deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements based on customer needs and technical assessments.
• Develop comprehensive statements of work (SoWs) that outline the objectives, deliverables, and timelines for IT monitoring and observability projects.
• Depending on complexity of project, may be expected to chip in for project implementation (on case by case basis).

Training & Enablement:

• Provide training and support to internal teams and customers on observability, monitoring, and AIOps solutions, ensuring effective adoption and utilization.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and competitive landscape related to IT monitoring and observability.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with product management and engineering teams to provide feedback and influence the development of future product features and enhancements.
• Share insights and success stories with the broader team to drive continuous improvement in monitoring and observability solutions.

Qualifications:

Experience:

• 3- 5 years of experience in presales, solutions engineering, or technical consultancy roles with a focus on IT Observability, Monitoring, and AIOps.
• Proven experience with SolarWinds, including hands-on implementation and configuration.
• Experience with Elastic Observability, IBM Observability solutions, or equivalent will be advantageous

Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, applications, and observability and monitoring principles.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and AIOps tools and platforms, including their configuration and integration.
• Proficiency in defining and tailoring scopes of work for services engagements that enhance visibility, performance, and operational efficiency.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.

Additional Information:

Responsibilities:

• Support of high-performance compute clusters.
• Working knowledge on HPC systems, including CPU/GPU architecture, scalable/robust storage, high-bandwidth inter-connects, and a knowledge of cloud-based computing architectures.
• Generate HW BOMs for the HPC Clusters, provide vendor management and oversee HW release activities.
• Utilize Linux OS to configure appropriate operating systems for the HPC system Understand and assemble the project specifications and performance requirements at the subsystem and system levels.
• Adhere and drive to project timelines to ensure program achievements complete on time.
• Support design and release of new products to manufacturing and ultimately the customer, providing quality golden images, procedures, scripts and documentation to the manufacturing team and customer support team.

Required Qualifications:

• Validated in-depth and flavor agnostic knowledge of Linux systems (SuSE, RedHat, Rocky, Ubuntu)
• Experience with maintaining and interacting with robust storage Working HPC HW knowledge especially in the server, GPU, networking, Storage, BIOS & BMC arenas.
• Experience in System-D, Net boot/PXE, Linux HA.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP fundamentals and knowledge of protocols, DNS, DHCP, HTTP, LDAP, SMTP.
• Ability to code and develop Shell and Python scripts.
  Experience with one or more of the listed Configuration Mgmt utilities. (Salt, Chef, Puppet etc) .

Preferred Qualifications:

• Possess a strong DevOps focus: Knowledge of setting up a continuous development pipeline (Jenkins), Repository software (Git-based), Singularity & Docker Containers. Kubernetes, Prothmesis & Grafana experience Knowledge of Apache/Nginx, Setting up proxy/reverse proxy, application server routing, load balancing (HA Proxy)
• BS or MS degree + 3 to 5 years validated experience Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineer related fields
