Job Responsibilities

• Plan for quality assurance activities with timelines and effort estimates and manage resources to support testing demand.
• Discuss and work with System Analysts & development teams and SMBC to understand the testing requirements to determine testing coverage and collect sample test data (if available).
• Review documentations created by QA Team Lead, Senior System Analyst and/or vendor to ensure quality.
• Track testing activities against test plans and track defects (Log Defect with assigned Severity, Retest and Close Defect) discovered to resolution. Report statistics and statuses to PM.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to the team and ensure process and compliance is met. Provide direction, support and set performance goals to the team.
• Timely escalate issues to manager.
• Support on hiring matters such as interviews where required.
• Onboard new joiners to their roles.
• Coach and guide team members on their jobs.
• Manage and motivate team performance, guided by performance management framework.
• Engage team members to identify and support them on their career aspirations and development plans.

Job Requirements

• Diploma/ bachelor’s degree in computer science.
• Min. 10 years' experiencing working as Quality Assurance Analyst/ Tester in a bank, FI or a consultancy company.
• Familiar with defect management tools.
• Ability to understand technical jargons and some understanding of technology environment setup.
• Possess strong planning skill and is positive and proactive in his/her approach.

SUMMARY

Reporting to the VP of Global SOC Operations, the Sr Manager of APAC SOC Operations is a role with responsibility to lead a team of compromised of SOC and Threat Intelligence staff. Proficio currently has three SOCs and our APAC location operates 24 hours a day with multiple shift conventions, plus offsite staff operating in specific customer environments. Your responsibility is to continuously improve the productivity and quality of output of the SOC, meet customer SLAs, and build a high performing team. As a technical leader, you will also be responsible for interacting with clients to discuss their requirements and issues.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In the portion of this role that oversees our APAC SOC Analyst team:

• Coordinate and lead global strategic initiatives to continuously provide improvements in service delivery to our customers

• Oversee the hiring, development, and training of our team of Security Analysts and Incident Responders
• Oversee SOC processes and review their application to ensure that SOC’s controls, policies, and procedures are operating effectively
• Sets standards and KPIs that align with corporate goals for service delivery and report on agreed metrics
• Communicate with customers on technical and service delivery issues when needed
• Integrate and coordinate with other SOC teams, Device Management, R&D, and Customer Success to streamline service delivery

In the portion of this role that participates in and runs the Threat Detection Department:

• Oversee the direction and output of Use Case Development.
• Assist when needed on development projects, including but not limited to developing and creating new use cases for our base library including documentation, maintain existing base library, and modify alerts in library as required by the current threat landscape.

In the portion of this role that participates in and runs the Threat Intelligence Department:

• Oversee the direction and output of Threat Intelligence operations.
• Assist in developing and creating relevant and effective processes, procedures, and documentation

• 5+ years of supervisory experience working in Security Operations Centers - experience working for an MSSP/MDR is desirable
• Strong understanding of security operations, threat hunting methodologies, incident response and architectural dependencies of security technologies
• Experience with Splunk, Elastic, and ServiceNow is desirable
• Experience in developing frameworks for knowledge transfer, training and education
• Credibility advising clients and managing communications throughout the lifecycle of the relationship
• Successful track record as a leader, people manager, communicator and motivator
• Strategic mindset and the capability to plan effectively
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure
• Current or past certifications: CISSP, CISM and SANS knowledge would be viewed positively
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar field, or equivalent

• Assures regulatory compliance of product, label and communication.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and act as key liason with relevant units, including marketing and factories for SG regulations.
• Provide opportunity / risk assessment on regulatory environment at early stage of I&R process to facilitate decision-making and help timely launches.
• Handles Healthier Choice Application and manage liaison with relevant HPB department.
• Influence SFA on company positions in relation to business need.
• Ensures that all relevant functions are kept informed about emerging local regulatory issues and implementation schedules for new regulations.

• Acts as a key contact for all NHW realted issues internally and externally with key stakeholders like HPB.
