• Direct and supervise the day-to-day activities of all sections within the Front Office and other services rendered by other operational departments
• Responsible for the proper, efficient and profitable functioning of the hotel
• Ensure guests are attended to with promptness, courtesy and efficiency and that guest complaints are handled with tact and diplomacy
• Asisst in checking in/out of guests. Assist to inspect rooms assigned to VIPs before their arrival. Meet and escort them to their rooms
• Check logbook for messages and follow-up actions upon commencement of shift. Check housekeeping discrepancy report; report any variance and take corrective actions
• Monitor room inventory closely to ensure maximum utilisation of rooms to generate higher revenue

Individual to be involved in:

1. Project planning & implementations sessions

2. Liase with external vendors & suppliers for design & build projects

3. Managing project progress and adapt work as required

4. Managing relationships with vendors,suppliers & stakeholders

5. Overseeing all incoming and outgoing project documentation

6. Participating in tender process & cost control requirements

Technical Skills & Competencies:

1. Active participation in manage projects & work areas by setting objectives, project plans, methodologies and timelines to ensure successful outcomes

2. Review, implement and oversee all cost controls, policies and procedures and oversee internal control

3. Develop and implement improvements to new/existing project procedures in order to maximize efficiency and improve project costs

4. Able to plan & monitor project progress to ensure timely completion

5. Perform all aspects of project management functions and to ensure proper post-contract administration

Duration: 6 months programme

The Job:

• To support/lead the administration, strategic development, and flagship events (including research seminars/conferences
• To liaise with internal and external stakeholders, as well as with public agencies on various aspects of corporate compliance.
• Responsible for budget forecast, monitoring project expenditures, and assessment and tracking of programme impact evaluation

The Requirements:

• Min Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of relevant work experience in the public sector/media, project and events management, including matters related to corporate, legal, and financial compliance in Singapore
• Possess excellent writing and management skills
