Director

The Director brings content concepts and ideas to life with artistic vision. He/She develops an idea into engaging content by defining the style and structure of the production. During the pre-production phase, he/she guides script development and makes key decisions on cast, crew and locations. He/She directs the content shoot with both cast and crew. He/She also manages the technical aspects of production such as the camera, lighting, design and special effects departments. He/She guides the post-production crew to achieve the final cut of the production.

He/She may also be required to manage single and multiple camera production operations, by communicating production requirements to Production teams to achieve the required film shots. He/She plans and drives a creative vision to deliver content, requiring a high amount of concentration, collaboration and creative thinking.

He/She should have a good understanding of the entire content production process, and be good at storytelling to create compelling stories for various forms of visual media. He/She should have an artistic vision to be able to create linear and non-linear forms of content.

He/She should have effective leadership, collaboration, communication and stakeholder management.

Writer

The writer devises the long-term storyline and outlines the overall story in sequence. He/She is to develop scripts for various audiences and ensures that the ideas appeal to them. He/She must ensure that overall quality, budget and schedule are in line with requirements. He/She seeks direction from the Creative Leadership team to execute the vision of desired content, and works with various production teams to ensure that the story is translated to a visual concept appropriately. He/She understands technical and production constraints, and may identify solutions for required story adaptations. He/She should also understand the production processes, and have expert knowledge on regulatory requirements to identify legal issues that may occur.

He/She works either independently or in a team, and depending on the production requirements, he/she may be required to travel for work.

He/She should have a deep understanding of the target audience to create stories that engage them. He/She is effective at storytelling and has an expert grasp of the language.

Tasks

Director

• Assess the requirements of the production in terms of cast, crew, location, studio, equipment, logistics and marketing costs.

• Communicate the requirements of each film shot including the visual setting, type of shots for correct emphasis and creative atmosphere.

• Compose the visual details of each film shot as per the storyboard by finalising camera angles, lighting, positioning and movement of actors.

• Create the content concept which may include the genre, theme period setting, broad storyline and basic plot.

• Direct the creation of the trailer for the content.

• Finalise agreements and contracting with the production houses.

• Finalise edited content for production release.

• Guide main cast actors during script readings to help them understand the characters' traits and behaviours.

• Guide revisions to the screenplay based on the creative and commercial inputs from stakeholders.

• Guide talent during the takes on scene requirements and emotions required to achieve the vision of the scene.

• Guide the creation of storyboards by communicating the creative vision for each scene.

• Guide the development of the script based on the content concept and storyline.

• Maximise the production cost estimate by making changes to the screenplay.

• Oversee the hiring of the entire crew and support staff as per the production requirements.

Job Description

The Head of Finance for Infrastructure is a key member of the Infrastructure Management Team and has a crucial role in ensuring our infrastructure strategy is successful.

The person will be responsible for full spectrum finance responsibilities in Infrastructure and support project development and integration where needed. The role will be hands on to provide timely management and statutory reporting and oversee tax and risk management, investment appraisal, and performance management. The Head of Finance should lead project-related financing and maintain local banking relationships. The person should also establish a risk-appropriate internal control environment and business processes for infrastructure and its invested portfolio, including implementing a selected financial system.

Summary

The Director of Value Management is a key enabler to rapid and continued growth throughout our Sales teams. What You’ll Do

Minimum Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree with 10 years related experience working in financial services, consulting for financial services companies, or supporting salespeople selling to financial services customers, or Master's degree with 8 years related experience, or PhD with 6 years related experience

Preferred Qualifications

• An understanding of financial services regulatory reporting is a plus
• Skills in analysis, storytelling, executive presentation, demonstration, requirements mapping and collaboration with varying levels of an organization
• Extensive experience in financial business case modeling, including complex modeling as sometimes required for large cash-flow sensitive investments on a global scale

Roles and Responsibility (Student Care Teacher) :

• Execute PlayFACTO character development programs and engaging activities to students
• Supervision primary school children (primary 1 to 6) to ensure completion of daily homework

The ICC Office under InsPIRE is responsible for a wide spectrum of activities related to NTU’s Interdisciplinary Collaborative Core (ICC) curriculum which is part of the NTU Education 2025 strategy.

ICC Office is responsible for working with the different colleges/schools to offer and administer the seven core ICC courses that will be taken by all NTU students admitted from AY2021-22 onwards.

This role is required to oversee the management, administrative and coordination aspects of the ICC that include academic planning, timetabling, course registration, and course delivery and assessment, and the assignment and management of the faculty, ICC Lecturers and ICC Specialists hired to teach the courses.

• Together with Director of HR, lead the annual L&D budget process, control training expenses and manage expenditure to meet the property’s needs while remaining within the budget guidelines
• Work with the third party training providers to coordinate external training requirements
• Support the Hotel and Corporate Management Trainee Programmes, liaising with respective departments in accordance with Company Policies and Procedures
• Manage and support identified colleagues on High Potential Programme (HIPP).
• Provide career development coaching, counselling and welfare support to colleagues when required
• Support the development needs of Executive Committee members either on an individual basis or as a team – through executive retreats or team building activities
• Support the hotel quality assurance programme by helping to facilitating appropriate meetings, analysing data from Guest Satisfaction Loyalty Surveys (LRA), mystery shops/inspections (MOQA, Forbes etc.), and ensuring follow up as required
• Attend Executive Committee meetings and/or morning operational meetings as required
• Participate in Corporate initiatives, such as the L&D train the Trainer workshop, LQE Workshops, pre-openings, and the Cultural Exchange Ambassador programme
• In conjunction with a global L&D team, contribute to regional and global projects and facilitate/co-facilitate MOHG programmes and activities regionally and globally.
• Support the development and piloting of new MOHG L&D programmes
• Support hotel openings as Cultural Exchange Ambassador and lead cross-exposure/MOve In for other L&D Managers within the region
• Assist the Hotel FLHSS&E Champion with the implementation of all legally required FLHSS&E related training programmes such as Basic Food Hygiene, First Aid and Skills National Certification; ensure proper attendance and recording
• Work closely with entire HR Team with regard to promoting an “employer of choice” philosophy. Assist in the maintenance of all hotel colleague related bulletin boards.
• Assist the Employee Relations/Benefits Manager in all colleague recognition programs to include reward and recognition program, teambuilding and colleagues’ events.
• Ensure security and confidentiality of all information throughout the hotel.

Requirement

• At least 5 years of experience in similar capacity in a luxury hotel
• Well versed with luxury service standards

[What you will be working on]
 

This role will support MAS in the preparations for the repeal of the regulatory regime for the registered fund management companies (RFMCs). With the repeal, over 200 RFMCs will have to apply for a licence in order to continue operating. RFMCs that meet criteria will be approved to become licensed fund management companies.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist in monitoring the status of licence applications by RFMCs.  

• Assist in checking that licence applications submitted by RFMCs are complete, and in the review of the applications.

• Support the logistics for industry and internal briefings on the repeal.

• Assist in checking and updating published materials that provide guidance on the repeal and the transitional arrangements for RFMCs.

• Assist in maintaining and updating internal records on RFMCs.

• Perform any other task needed to support MAS’ preparations for the repeal of the RFMC regime.
