Controllership (70%)

• Manage and oversee the entire full spectrum of accounting function, including GL, AP, and AR.
• Lead the month-end closing process, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial statements, including all entities (VFT Singapore, VFT India, Liv Energy JV, VFT Africa).
• Lead the annual audit process to ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Manage tax filing (GST/WHT/CIT) compliance and submissions.
• Establish and maintain robust accounting policies, coordinating with department heads for group functions such as governance, risk management, capital planning and stakeholder management.
• Ensure timely and accurate invoicing, implementing effective accounts receivable collection strategies to improve cash flow, and collaborating with BD team to reduce aged past dues.
• Handle transfer pricing for intercompany transactions and ensure tax compliance according to the tax policies.

• Support annual OKR & Budgeting planning, collaborating with key stakeholders to establish and track OKRs aligned with the overall corporate strategy.

Quality

• Responsible for managing and coordinating contractors and subcontractors involved in the construction projects. This involves evaluating contractor capabilities, selecting appropriate contractors, negotiating contracts, and monitoring their performance throughout the project.
• Ensures compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations is a critical responsibility. Also responsible for implementing and enforcing safety procedures, conducting regular inspections, and promoting a culture of safety among the construction team.
• Implementation of quality control measures to ensure that construction activities meet the required standards and specifications. This includes conducting inspections, reviewing construction documentation, and addressing any non-conformities or deficiencies.
• Monitors project budgets and controlling costs. This involves tracking expenses, reviewing and approving invoices, managing change orders, and ensuring that construction activities stay within the allocated budget.
• Coordinates with various stakeholders, such as project managers, engineers, clients, and regulatory authorities. Effective communication and collaboration with these stakeholders are essential to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Manages project risks is a crucial aspect includes analyse potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and implement appropriate risk management practices to minimize the impact of risks on the construction projects.
• Regular reporting on the progress of construction projects prepares progress reports, highlighting key milestones, issues, and achievements, and communicates them to relevant stakeholders
• Maintains accurate project documentation, including construction plans, permits, contracts, and reports, is essential and ensures that all necessary documentation is properly organized and maintained for future reference and audit purposes.

Requirements

• Minimum Degree in Engineering
• 7-10 years’ experience related experience
• Knowledge in EPC projects for O&G, Offshore Renewables & system
• Proficient in MS office applications
• Dynamic, self-motivated, proactive and results oriented

Job Description

1. Loading/unloading of plants and products for incoming shipments and outgoing deliveries

2. To check and verify outgoing items are consistent with the Delivery Orders

3. Check Delivery Orders, Cash Bills, or Tax Invoices for sales delivery are properly completed before leaving on delivery

4. Plan delivery routes according to the company's arrangement and customer's request in order to ensure proper delivery is completed on time

5. Deliver items to the correct location and do proper goods receiving process

6. Clean and maintain assigned vehicles and accessories on regular basis. Remind in-charge personnel for the scheduling of services, of necessary repair works, of vehicle inspection datelines, etc.

7. Any other job scope or tasks to be appointed

Job Requirements

- Possess a valid Class 3 Singapore driving license or more

- Preferably 2 years of delivery experience

- Familiar with Singapore routes

- Possess a positive attitude and initiative

Working Day & Timing

Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 5:00pm

Saturday: 8:00am -12:00pm
