MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

(A) SPECIFIC (90%)

• Assist the pharmacist in the processing of medication orders for inpatient and outpatient dispensing which includes typing, packing, labeling and distribution of drug supplies to the wards and other hospital departments.
• Perform billing functions and ensures that cost and revenue of all stocks supplied are recovered.
• Assist the pharmacist in the processing of medication orders for sterile and extemporaneous preparations according to USP guidelines.
• Compounding of antibiotic infusers, eye drops, syringe preparations and topical creams according to the prescriptions and orders.
• Ensure maintenance, sanitation and organization of clean room and related equipment according to policies and procedures.
• Dispenses medicines under the supervision of a pharmacist.
• Monitor and maintain inventory stock level of drugs in the areas of work.
• Receive, unpack and check deliveries against the appropriate documents, to ensure that items supplied are correct and accounted for.
• Perform stock receipts and issues in FIFO order.
• Assist in providing quality customer service.
• Maintains the cleanliness of the work areas and prepare these for daily operations.

• *Staff may be assigned to Unit Dose Packaging where they will instead have greater focus on the following duties:
• (UDP) Perform medication repackaging and quality checks as part of pharmacy automation system in accordance with repackaging procedures.
• (UDP) Assist the Unit Dose Packaging Pharmacy In Charge in ensuring the smooth running of UDP operations, including manpower allocation, production job planning, handling enquiries from wards and perform simple troubleshooting of the automation machines.

(B) GENERAL (10%)

• Assist in orientating and training new staff assigned to the section.
• Assist pharmacist in managing the operations in the assigned section.
• Supports the hospital by participating actively in the various activities organized by the hospital. Activities include QC, community projects, staff welfare and recreational activities and etc.

• Prepare and schedule time for events. Participate in the set up and ensuring the smooth operations of events.
• Ensure safety and compliance in AV storage area.
• Coordinate with contractor to repair the system if required.
• To carry out routine checks on AV and VC systems and equipment to ensure they are in working condition . Priority checks for Auditorium and meeting rooms or when major events are held at .
• Attending to requests/ queries, feedback and complaints pertaining to AV and VC systems and equipment.
• Providing technical advice , operational support for for audio visual requirements.
• Responding to complaints , faults if any reported or detected during routine servicing and maintenance. To investigate the cause of the faults, to make recommendations for the repair required and promptly rectify them.
• Liaising with event organizers on logistics support and event set up requirements.
• To also assist in general maintenance of the building. Training can be provided.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Candidate must possess at least a Nitec / Higher Nitec qualification or Diploma in Electrical / Communication or electronics engineering field .
• At least 4 year(s) of working experience in the related field is needed.
• Good communication and written skills
• Good exposure in large scale events, Hotel or Exhibition experience.

5.5 days work week. Singaporean Prefer.

• ONSITE SUPPORT: ONSITE PM & TROUBLESHOOTING OF RADIOLOGY EQUIPMENTS, DIAGNOSTIC MONITORS & PC & ACCESSORIES, NURSE CALL SYSTEM, OPERATING LIGHT
• ONSITE DVD/USB COUNTER RECORD UPDATE & SIGN THE LOG CHECK WITH CUSTOMER ON MONTHLY BASIS
• ONSITE SUPPORT, PREVENTIVE MAINTAINANCE & TROUBLESHOOTING OF AUTOMATIC DICOM DVD/USB BURNER & PACS SYSTEM
• CONTACT CUSTOMER TO RESOLVE PENDING CASE ID ON DAILY BASIS
• PREPARE & REPORT OF TECHNICAL GUIDELINES
• PROVIDE TECHNICAL INFORMATION FOR PRE-BID AND TENDER SPECIFICATIONS
• COMPLETES TIMESHEETS WITHIN THE ALLOCATED TIME FRAME
• ROSTER STANDBY SUPPORT OF AFTER OFFICE WORK WHEN REQUIRED (HAVING OT PAYMENT)
