Key Responsibilities

· Participate in end-to-end projects for system implementation of machine learning system

· Engage and collaborate with Architects, Security and Development Lead to ensure solution design complies with enterprise design principles, security and control standards

· Liaise with application teams across group and countries build the enhancements according to the technical solution plan

· Analyse user requirements and convert requirements to design document and other system documentation to capture key design decisions

· Plan technical deliverables, perform design and development works to meet project’s requirements within schedule

· Perform data mapping and process mapping with interfacing applications

· Escalate issues that impacts project schedule on timely basis and propose workarounds/resolutions

· Create technical documents for the solutions. Compile timely, comprehensive, and accurate documentation as requested

· Test, maintain and recommend software improvements to ensure strong functionality and optimization

· Work with production support team members to conduct root cause analysis of issues, review new and existing code and/or perform unit testing

· Partner with Test Management teams to ensure completion of SIT, UAT, performance / load testing and application security testing with quality result

· Liaise with other application teams and business users to prepare test cases and test data prior to testing in UAT and Mock Run environment

· Manage project change request approval windows and deployment schedule

· Facilitate and provide technical and testing support before and after production deployment

· Liaise with other units across IT and Business in the organization

· Manage external vendors for project delivery within schedule

Key Requirements:

Must Have

· More than 10 years assuming techno functional role in either compliance technology or machine learning domain

· At least 8 years of experience / knowledge in Unix Shell Scripting, Oracle, Java and Python, Spark

· At least 8 years of experience in application and database design and

· Ability to multitask effectively and handle large amounts of data

· Highly driven, pro-active and a strong team player

· Excellent interpersonal skills and written and verbal communication skills in English

• Understands the contractual agreements with customers to be able to deliver the same with regards to the ship management services for each assigned vessel, in a safe and cost efficient manner.

3. Safety of Operations

• Monitors the effective operation of the equipment and machinery of the assigned vessels, identifying potential discrepancies from operational standards and proposes and/or implements solutions that will enhance the efficiency, performance and safety of the vessels.
• Participates in the development of the maintenance and repairs plan for the assigned vessels and monitors its accurate execution
• Arranges and executes Drydock activities at regular intervals
• Develops, maintains, monitors and reports budgets for all assigned vessels
• Monitors all vessels trading certificates to ensure compliance with existing maritime legislation, safety regulations and operational standard requirements of all regulatory bodies.

4. Execution of technical inspections/ internal audits

• Manages all vessel visits, audits and inspections effectively right from planning to implementation and follow up with the aim of supporting and enhancing the operational efficiency of the assigned vessels.
• Responsible for communication, promotion and implementation of company's health, safety, environment and quality policy on board the vessels related to technical.
• In liaison with Loss Prevention Safety and Quality Department, and Fleet Personnel Department, assists and supports sea staff with alignment of technical requirements.
• Assists with the Company initiatives regarding the human element

5. Purchasing activities

• Ensures ship requisitions are handled timely and as per policy.

6. Management of resources

• Coach, engage, motivate, mentor employees to develop their strengths and build their capabilities as per their defined roles and personal goal
• Identifies training needs and provides on board training to ship staff during ship visits.

Role requirements

Education and Qualifications

Work Experience
