Job Overview:

As a Pre-Sales Engineer you will be responsible:

- Designing and drafting systems for business proposals brought in by the sales team.

- Accurately estimate resources required to design and deliver a solution

- Ensuring that quotes are technically correct before they are signed off.

- Providing technical support to the sales team throughout the sales process.

- Providing technical specs, specifying correct equipment required for each sales proposal.

- Providing concept, solution and system drawings for the pitching and quotes.

- Providing supporting documents and detailed drawings for projects that have been sold.

- Assisting the sales team during client meetings to confirm and ensure that the technical requirements are correct.

Responsibilities:

· Research, design, and engineering from simple to complex AV systems.

Education

Responsibilities

• Direct, lead and support other engineering and skilled personnel in managing and executing projects.
• Provide expert advice on available solutions and technical changes.
• Check technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly.
• Prepare T&Cs, OMM, cost estimates and ensure appropriate materials and tools are available.
• Evaluating the functionality of re-designed processes
• Conduct on site investigations and analyze data (reports, tests, drawing and other).
• Troubleshooting electrical engineering and technical fault.

• Reviews project specification and provide necessary welding information and advice to meet the requirements of the project
• Reviews project specification for welding process, base metals, filler metals, and select appropriate Welding Procedure Specification (WPS)
• Maintains the better welding control at Workshop, Onboard, and other worksites to avoid complaints/ non-conformance
• Monitors the welder's performance, implement the control measures to improve the weld failure rate
• Monitors welding activities to ensure project specific requirements are fulfilled

Requirements:

• Preferably 5 years of relevant experience
