We are seeking a highly skilled Mainframe Infrastructure Support Engineer with specialized expertise in IBM's Customer Information Control System (CICS) and Message Queuing (MQ) technologies. Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Mainframe Infrastructure Support Engineer, with a focus on CICS and MQ administration.
• Proficiency in mainframe operating systems (e.g., z/OS), utilities, and tools commonly used in CICS and MQ environments.
• Strong understanding of CICS architecture, transaction processing concepts, and programming interfaces (e.g., ECI, EXCI).
• In-depth knowledge of IBM MQ messaging middleware, including queue managers, channels, and message protocols (e.g., MQI, MQRFH2).
• Experience in configuring and managing CICS regions, resource definitions, transaction routing, and MQ objects.

[What you will be working on]

- Support the daily operation of services

- Manage enquiries from various stakeholders i.e. students, parents, public, agencies, etc

- Assist in organising activities related to admission processes, examination processes, orientation programmes and graduation ceremony as well as supporting College’s events and functions

- Assist is monitoring department budget and procuring of items like stationeries, first aid items, sundries, etc

- Maintain and upkeep records and inventory items

- Review and improve work processes

- Maintain proper documentation keeping

- Any other administrative duties as assigned

- Design, install, configure, test and maintain Integrated Security Systems comprising video surveillance, access control and intrusion detection components. 
- Experience in deploying video analytics solutions such as facial / license plate recognition, crowding, detecting abnormal traffic conditions etc using machine learning / deep learning technologies. 
- Experience in designing, setting up and operating of a Security Command Centre 
- Good understanding of networking, TCP/IP connectivity and general cybersecurity practices to ensure a smooth implementation of security projects. 
- Provide theory and practical hands-on technical training of security system products for end users. 
- Professional certifications and experience in deploying automation solutions for security system/operations will be an added advantage.

A) Installation and Maintenance of machinery and equipment eg. process piping, valves, metering pump

Conduct lesson on prescriptive and predictive maintenance on process of machinery and equipment eg. process piping, valves, metering pump and etc. Take lead on Work Health Safety training courses, material and equipment.

You should be trained in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics with at least 3 years of relevant practical experience in the Mechanical Engineering related sector. Possess relevant certification in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) will be an advantage. You should also display passion and commitment for an engineering and teaching career.

B) IoT application

Design IoT application with use of sensors (vibration, heat, flowrate and etc) and gateway on engineering equipment to aggregates data for pattern analysis.

You should be trained in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics with at least 3 years of related working experience. Experience in IoT applications development and Industry 4.0 deployment will be an advantage. You should also display passion and commitment for an engineering and teaching career.
