Be Part of Process Assurance Team (PAT) supporting bank’s Project, Development and Service Delivery teams to ensure process compliance to System Development Methodology (SDM) process

The team acts as a quality gate for SDM major milestones to ensure entry & exit criteria are met and is responsible to review the quality of the artefacts such as functional & design specification, testing documents and others project deliverables.

The successful candidate will be working with Project and Technical Delivery managers to ensure high quality of
deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish controls and compliance checks on System development methology processes
• Design, formulate and enforce governance & compliance process improvement.
• Conduct quality gate review for SDM major milestones (analysis, design, build, test and deployment)
• Perform walkthroughs and interviews with project and application delivery managers to drive process adherence
• Report findings and provide consulting support in ensuring compliances with procedures
• Aside from day-to-day duties, there will be requirements to undertake other responsibilities such as management
reporting & other centrally driven project initiatives as needed

Key Requirements

• Degree in computer science/engineering or related disciplines
• At least 6 to 9 years of relevant experience in IT process compliance audit or Project Management
• Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, organization and analytical skills a MUST

Department Overview

The Risk Management Department at Nomura is broadly organised according to the main risk classes; Credit Risk Management, Market Risk Management, Operational Risk Management and New Products/Business. Role Description:

The Risk Change function within Risk management manages regulatory and other strategic changes for various risk business functions. Risk Change partners with technology and business functions to support implementation of various risk solutions. Requirements:

• A Degree from an accredited University.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in Market Risk management as a Business Analyst or Business User with experience in Fixed Income and Foreign Exchange trading products.
• Experience in Market Risk domain in areas like computation of risk measures (VaR, IRC, ES etc.), management of risk limits, and risk reporting.
• Experience in data analysis and have the ability to summarise the pattern in the data by querying/analysing large amount data using various tools including SQL.
• Experience with Basel norms, particularly FRTB and Basel 2.5 standards
• Prior experience in market risk system implementations and involvement in regulatory projects.
• Good communication skills and understanding of key Market risk business processes to support presentation of complex topics to senior management.
• High level understanding project management concepts and approach.
• Track record of managing requirements, delivery and testing in a fast-paced environment

• Some experience in defining Testing approach, test plan and test co-ordination.
