- Maintain account assigned for exception declarations.

- Follow up on daily shipment holds and find solutions in a timely manner to process the customs clearance

- Respond to phone and email enquiries on brokerage- related services

Position Overview

Primary responsible to provide support to International Freight Forwarding (IFF) on regional Implementations and related IT Solutions, in line with Global and Regional Strategic Solutions.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Business Process Management (BPM) and International Freight Forwarding (IFF) teams for any Process/Solution discussions related to IFF areas.
• Manage and Support Implementation of IFF related solutions.
• Support IT lead and assist in Cost Control in IT areas.
• Initiate and Discuss Process with Business Process Management (BPM), Process Management Group (PMG) and Operation Companies’ teams and identify solutions to reduce workload with adequate EDI/RPA or Automation tools.
• Monitor day to day incidents via Service Desk, respond timely, provide prompt support to 16 Operation Companies in South Asia Oceania.
• Assist in providing solutions via EDI OR Automation OR Dashboards, as required for Business Units or Customers.
• Provide Trainings to increase knowledge for staff in Operation Companies
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in IT, Computer, Business, or a related area or equivalent
• At least 10 years’ experience in handling IT related Solutions with at least 3 years supporting IFF Solutions on a regional basis.
• Business driven with a broad understanding of IT Solutions, IT infrastructure and IT Security areas.
• Knowledge of CARGOWISE Solution is preferred.
• Familiar with Operational Process requirements for IFF areas
• Able to communicate effectively with Japanese stakeholders (local team, Regional Headquarters and Global Headquarters) as well as with Japanese speaking customers for discussions and alignment on solutions, effective communications and rapport building.
• Demonstrate skill on formal presentations and ability to conduct training sessions.
• Good written and verbal English communication.
• High responsible and strong team player and able to work independently.
• Computer literate with advance proficiency in Microsoft Office (Power point and Excel)
• Knowledge of Power BI essential.
• Able to work in multi-cultural business environment.
• Able to travel overseas for business travel from time to time
