Job Responsibilities

• Answer client’s sales enquiry and assist in preparation of sales orders/quotations.
• Process customers’ orders and expedite shipments to meet monthly sales target.
• Issue Delivery Order and Tax invoice to customers.
• Provide prompt, quality customer service.
• Ensure product information in the warehouse system is up-to-date (eg. part number, pricing, quantity etc..).
• Prepare weekly and month end closing sales data and reports.
• Correspond with vendors to manage shipping schedule and delivery of goods.
• Manage delivery schedule between customer and vendors.
• Oversee warehouse operations.
• Responsible for inventory accuracy and periodic physical stock-take process.
• Perform other duties as assigned by immediate Manager.

Job Description:

Procurement:

• Source and identify suppliers for direct/indirect materials/services to expand the supplier base and meet new project/production needs.
• Obtain quotes from newly sourced suppliers to achieve competitive costing and continuous cost reduction.
• Lead periodic price negotiations with suppliers to ensure competitiveness in material/service costs.
• Conduct supplier qualification audits and parts qualification to ensure suppliers meet company requirements.
• Qualify suppliers for inclusion in the Approved Vendor List.
• Conduct regular supplier performance reviews to manage qualifications and updates on suppliers' capabilities.
• Maintain standard operating procedures for the Procurement department to ensure consistent workflow processes.

• Collaborate with other departments and suppliers to establish an appropriate supply chain model for assured supplies with minimal inventory holdings.
• Work with departments like Engineering/Warehouse to establish quality standards for supplied items and create the Quality plan
• Supervise and train junior staff to lead the team in accomplishing assigned duties.
• Undertake any other task or project assigned by management.

Purchasing:

• Develop a Purchasing strategy for various supply categories to ensure on-time order fulfillment with minimal inventory for direct purchases.
• Fulfill all indirect purchase needs based on user requirements.
• Periodically review the Purchasing strategy with Management and propose changes when market trends shift.
• Provide periodic alerts and updates to internal/external customers to promptly address any issues or delays.
• Work with principals/suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods to meet customer/company needs.

Warehousing:

• Manage the warehouse team to ensure timely receiving/issuance of raw materials.
• Oversee the warehouse team to fulfill order requirements for all customer shipments.
• Ensure overall inventory integrity of all goods in the warehouse.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
• At least 5 years of working experience and exposure in both mechanical and electrical customized parts and components sourcing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Job Description

1. Reports to the Logistics Manager/Logistics Section Manager.
2. Coordinates the daily logistics/warehouse activities according to the shipment schedule.
• Plan and assign staff for the daily activity in the warehouse.
• Provide information to warehouse staff for daily shipment requirements.
• Arrange and coordinates transportation for local and overseas shipment.
• Coordinate with internal and external parties for all deliveries and shipment.
3. Ensure that all goods to be deliveries are arranged in a timely and appropriate manner by checking lead time of each order from customers, first-in-first out compliance, expiry date of the goods, and other necessary information.
4. Coordinate collection of empty drums for recycle from customer.
5. Process orders by entering into DSC system.
6. Issues proper shipping document (DO, Packing List, Invoice, COA, shipping mark, permit) for each shipment.
7. Arrange Marine Insurance for export cargo and import of empty drums from customer.
8. Assist to conduct visual inspection for incoming and outgoing finished goods for the warehouse. Reports to the superiors on any defects or abnormalities found.
9. Assist to prepare goods for shipment by:
• Scanning the serial number of the drums.
• Pasting of shipping mark as per required by the customer.
10. Assist the Logistics Section Manager in inventory control and management.
• Ensure that all goods are received into warehouse with proper documentation.
• Keep record and maintain balance of goods at company and Third-Party Warehouse.
• Ensure accuracy of month end, midyear and year end stock from third party and company warehouse.
11. Submit monthly report to Logistics Section Manager for empty drums and cargo insurance.
12. Conducts investigation and generate corrective action report as and when necessary.
13. To upkeep and maintain documentation on QMS and EHSMS records.
14. To conduct training as and when necessary for warehouse staff.
15. Strictly adhere to EHS and QMS procedures in all aspects of the activities.
16. Performs any other task as instructed by Logistics Manager/Logistics Section Manager.

Job Requirement

1. Education requirement – minimum SP graduate
2. 1 years working experience in logistics, warehouse field role
3. Organized, ability to handle multitask
4. Good attitude to work as a team
5. Have experience using MS office, especially Excel
