Operational Administration

◦ Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies to optimize the supply chain, improve operational efficiency, and reduce costs. Identify opportunities to enhance logistics processes and procedures.

◦ Team Leadership: Lead a team of logistics by providing guidance, coaching, and support. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Set clear objectives, monitor performance, and provide regular feedback.

◦ Transportation and Distribution: Oversee transportation and distribution operations of waste and manufactured products. Ensure timely delivery of products while minimizing transportation costs. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.

◦ Inventory Management: Planning in the storage and movement of waste and manufactured products in order to facilitate product sales and waste processing. Implement efficient inventory management practices to minimize stockouts and excess inventory. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely availability of goods.

◦ Supplier Management: Collaborate with suppliers on providing good transportation services, warehousing, and other logistics-related activities. Evaluate supplier performance and address any issues or concerns.

◦ Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, customs requirements, and international trade laws. Identify and mitigate risks associated with logistics operations, such as delays, disruptions, or security issues.

◦ Process Improvement: Continuously assess logistics processes and identify opportunities for improvement. Implement best practices, automation, and technology solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Streamline workflows and eliminate bottlenecks.

◦ Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports on logistics performance, including KPIs, cost analysis, and operational metrics. Analyze data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and cost-saving opportunities. Present findings to senior management and make recommendations for action.

Job Requirements

◦ Diploma/ Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain/ Business Management or related discipline

◦ Min. 5-8 years of relevant experiences in logistics management, material planning

◦ Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and management

◦ Highly responsible, a critical thinker and problem solver with a proven track record in team leadership

Responsibilities:

· Provide customer service support via phone and email.

· Attend to Customer’s enquires on product, RFQ and deliveries.

· Preparing of shipping document and import/export documentation.

· Monitor and ensure outgoing shipments being delivered as prescribed.

· Monitor and ensure incoming shipments being cleared timely.

· Processing of invoice promptly.

· Extract and tabulate data for report analysis using Microsoft Office Suite.

· Performing of general housekeeping within the workplace and maintaining of a safe working environment.

Duties of Senior Logistics Assistant:

• Carry out general warehouse operations and activities.
• Executing warehouse tasks according to established procedures while ensuring the safe and efficient handling of goods and equipment.

Requirements:
