Key Responsibilities

• To assist the Business Development team as their Sales Support
• To work closely with new prospects and customers on airfreight, seafreight, cross-border trucking and 3rd part freight enquires
• To source rates with Airlines & Overseas Agents and overseas local handling charges
• To handle daily shipping co-ordination of Air/ Sea/ Cross Border Land/ 3rd party shipments
• To liaise with various parties when handling shipments (e.g: Export/ Import Dept)
• To handle daily billing advice, recoveries paperwork and circulation of forms

Report to Logistics Executive/Officer is required to managed the ware house and be park of delivery team. Duties include

• Manage ware house inventories and stock take.

Responsibilities

· Receive-in boxes of new parts and check for any transportation damage

· Retrieve new parts from boxes and ensure all appropriate documents received with parts

· Assist store inspector to carry out receive-in-check and goods receipt on new parts

· Ensure parts are picked according to schedule and sent to Material Kitting on time

· Assisting in monthly cycle count / stock take

· Daily FOD walk is done and proactive report is updated

· Any other duties as assigned by the Head or Manager

Requirements

· Aerospace warehouse experience.

· Experience working with WMS or SAP

Job Description:

• Liaising with freight forwarders, direct customers and overseas agency for outgoing and incoming shipments.
• Handling and preparation of shipping documents (e.g. delivery order, bill of lading, tax invoice, arrival notice, etc.)
• Tracking, monitoring and follow up on shipments to ensure order fulfilment.
• Liaising with shipper, carriers, co-loader, transporter and warehouse for the transfer of cargo from suppliers' warehouse to stuffing warehouse.
• Data entry of various shipment information into the system.
• Any documentation and ad-hoc duties as assigned by your superior.

Job Requirements:

• At least 1 year of working experience in logistics operations (hands on) preferably, no experience is also welcome
• Outspoken, willing to learn attitude, able to work in a fast-paced environment and work independently.

• Loading, transporting, and delivering items to customers in a safe, timely manner.

• Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied.

• Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles.

• Accepting payments for delivered items.

• Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients.

• Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.

• Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record; operating equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.; and any other duties.

• Clean and maintain the Employer’s transportation vehicles
