Responsibilities
- Managing media relations and organizing press conferences from time to time.
- Driving media announcements including media releases, media statements, events, and online updates.
- Monitoring and effectively managing any news and crisis related to the Club.
- Managing the Club’s postings through various social media platforms to increase followers and likes.
- Developing and executing appropriate marketing and social media strategies.
- Planning and developing all marketing collaterals for the Club.
- Planning, managing timelines of publications for the Club’s magazines and Annual Reports.
- Verifying all artworks produced by the Club’s in-house graphic designer.
- Overseeing the Club’s official website and ensuring it is relevant and up-to-date.
- Creating social media strategies, content generation and feedback management.
- Ensure the accuracy of all information on the Club’s official website and all Club related notices, publications and social media posting.
- Assisting management with the preparation of all communications/ public relations materials when required.
- To assist the management on all events and Club major events.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
- The candidate shall report directly to the General Manager.
Pre-requisites
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a related discipline
- At least 5 years’ experience in a similar capacity, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Excellent communication (oral and written), marketing, presentation and copywriting skills.
- Pleasant personality, good interpersonal and leadership skills to inspire and motivate the team
- Good contacts with the media, lifestyle vendors and sponsors
- Good knowledge of events, activities and latest industry trends
