The Community Engagement (CE) team in Dover Park Hospice is responsible for mobilising its external stakeholders to advance our cause of being a centre of excellence for palliative medicine.
As an Associate in the CE team, you will mainly support the team in the execution of fundraising events and related activities. This role reports into the Senior Executive, Community Engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Administrative support including (but not limited to) telemarketing, letter shopping, data entry etc.
- Liaise with vendors and partners to ensure the maximum value and timely execution of procured goods and services
- Ensure the accurate processing of donations received and updating of databases in a timely manner
- Manage the inventory of physical assets and equipment for events
- Assist in the production of collaterals and publications
- Any other relevant duties that may be assigned
Requirements:
- GCE “A” level, Higher Nitec, Polytechnic Diploma or equivalent.
- Adept at working with spreadsheets and databases; graphic design skills is a bonus
- Prior experience in a project execution, administrative or fundraising role would be an advantage.
- Pleasant disposition and excellent interpersonal and oral/written communication skills.
- Collaborative team player and able to work independently and efficiently.
- Able to work occasionally outside of office hours and/or on weekends where necessary (time off-in-lieu will be granted for work performed outside of office hours).
