We are looking for a Steward to join our team!
As a Steward, we rely on you to:
- Supervise and control the work of the stewarding personnel in your section
- Assist with overseeing the daily operation of the stewarding operations
- Controls flow and supply of operating equipment (ie Chinaware, glassware, silverware, flatware etc)
- Maintain inventories and par stock compilation
- Support the Chief Steward on daily operation
- Maintain a close and positive relationship with the team
- Practices economy of checmical & cleaning supplies, electricity and water where possible
- Ensure all Health and Safety standards and policies are followed correctly
We are looking for someone who:
- Enjoys being challenged
- Must be a friendly, helpful and trustworthy leader
- Enjoys planning, organizing and problem solving
- Communicates with fluency in English (as well as the local language)
- A self-starter and a teamplayer
- Willing to work shifts
