Job Responsibilities:
- Involves in all aspects relating to the Tender, Design, and Construction Management of all types of Civil and Structural Systems for Industrial Facilities Buildings;
- In charge of the design of Concrete and Steel Structures;
- Assists Project Managers in achieving project completion within budget and on schedule and quality
- Prepares, Issues, and Evaluates Tender packages;
- Coordinates with Architectural and Process, Mechanical, Electrical disciplines and Quantity surveyors
- Address site issues related to design;
- Liaises with Consultants and sub-contractors
- Provides direction and coaching to other junior team members;
- Manages timely submission and approvals from local authorities.
- Mentoring Civil & Structural engineers during the tendering, design, and construction phases based on best practices defined in the engineering efficiency checklist
Requirements:
- Design and Construction experience preferably, PE Certified is a must.
- Site experience in piling works, Sub-structure, and Superstructure work for reinforcing concrete and Steel structures and Precast structures
- Experience working closely with Process, Mechanical, and Electrical disciplines, and Quantity Surveyor
- Experience in liaising with consultants and contractors
- Experience with checking shop drawings for Precast and steel structures and able to do detailed Design and work in a team and do provide details for cad
- Able to do Tender / Preliminary Design, Detailed Design, Preparation, and Managing the sub-contract tender packages and Lead the team of Engineers and Computer Aided Design
- Conversant with the Local Authorities' requirements for Civil and Structural submissions
