Client Billing Specialist

JOB PURPOSE:

Client Billing Specialists are responsible for the accurate and timely billing of all clients in line with their contractual obligations. This includes coordinating upfront and ongoing charges, monthly checks for ad-hoc billing, and the provision of accurate and timely reports as required.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Deliver accurate and timely billing to Isentia clients
  • Manage the set-up, maintenance and shut down of billing using Isentia systems in accordance with client contracts.
  • Ensure volume thresholds are tracked and administered accurately and on time.
  • Maintain accurate data across internal systems to support accuracy in billing.
  • Ensure invoices are issued to clients accurately and on time as per business and client requirements.
  • Report and record data in Isentia systems (including Salesforce CRM, Brief Admin, Netsuite)
  • Enter and maintain data as per business requirements.
  • Contribute to the provision of reports (ad-hoc and regular) to provide insight and visibility to internal teams and clients on billing and billing-related data.
  • Resolve billing-related queries 
  • Investigate basic to intermediate billing queries from clients and/or internal teams, providing quick and accurate resolutions.

ESSENTIAL:

  1. Minimum 1 year experience in a customer service, accounts receivable or similar role (ideally in a B2B environment)
  2. Tertiary Qualifications (Accounting/Finance highly regarded)
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  4. Highly proficient in English Language
  5. Technically proficient in a range of office applications, eg Google Docs/Sheets/Gmail
  6. High attention to detail

DESIRABLE:

  1. Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM software 
  2. Experience with Oracle Netsuite or similar ERP software
  3. Strong problem resolution skills
  4. Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team & work in a fast-paced high volume environment
  5. Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure
  6. Commitment to personal development
  7. Strong customer service focus
  8. Dedication to quality and a sense of personal responsibility
