The Operations Officer plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of international business information reports. As the front-end of the delivery process, you will be responsible for managing client orders, coordinating with data suppliers, facilitating communication between stakeholders, and ensuring timely completion of reports. This role requires excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on meeting daily and monthly deadlines.
Responsibilities: Order Processing & Management:
- Process new client orders for international business information reports, ensuring all
- necessary details and requirements are captured.
- Manage communication with external data suppliers to obtain relevant company
- information for research.
- Monitor order progress and identify any potential delays, proactively communicating these
- to internal stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date order tracking systems to ensure transparency throughout the process.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding client
- orders and report delivery.
- Facilitate clear and timely communication between clients, research officers, and data
- suppliers.
- Manage expectations and address any client concerns regarding information access or
- deadlines.
- Communicate any delays or potential issues to internal stakeholders and propose solutions.
Reporting & Billing:
- Prepare monthly reports on order processing volume, turnaround times, and other relevant
- metrics.
- Manage the billing process for reseller orders, ensuring accurate invoices are processed ontime.
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions related to reseller orders.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the order processing and
- delivery process.
