About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed cost estimates, budgets, and feasibility studies for construction projects during the pre-contract stage.
• Prepare and review tender documents, including bills of quantities, specifications, and cost schedules.
• Provide advice on contractual matters and contract documentation to ensure favorable terms for the company.
• Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain quotations.
• Manage procurement processes by implementing effective strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services.
• Monitor and control project costs, ensuring alignment with budgetary constraints and financial goals.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management to ensure project success.

• Minimum Diploma in Building Construction, QS or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in quantity surveying (Preferably for renovation and A&A works).
• Possess knowledge of local forms of contracts (i.e. PSSCOC, SIA & etc.).

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

This position is a 1-month contract starting November 2024, 6 days work week from 9am to 6pm.

• Receive instructions from handover team the schedule appointment for handing over of each and every property unit. Any changes of the appointment has to be notified immediately
• To carry out pre-inspection of the unit prior to handover
• To brief owner(s) the development facilities (if necessary), resident's handbook, relevant operating manuals, warranties in relation to the various appliances and accessories during the handover
• To go through handbook check list with owner(s)
• To ensure owners sign the check list and acknowledge the successful handover

• Provide facilities management services to our client's sites, managing camps that focus on Outdoor Adventures Activities. This includes scheduling preventative maintenance, pest control, horticulture, security management, etc through our appointed term/ sub-contractors.
• Investigate, check and analyse reported breakdowns & faults to determine their cause for the prevention of future occurrences.
• Responsible for the coordination of meetings and events such as logistics support, obtaining quotations, raising of invoices etc.
• Any other duties is assigned by the Supervisor.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma qualified preferably in Building/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering/Facilities Management with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Preferably possesses with Fire Safety Manager Certification
• Experience in Integrated Facilities Management / M&E is preferred.
• Able to start work immediately or within short notice is an advantage
• Required to take company-sponsored 7 minutes ferry ride from Punggol Point Jetty
