Job Role & Requirements

Help create and maintain a child-centred, homely therapeutic community that is responsive to the developmental needs of residents, where they are enabled to grow holistically, work towards emotional stability and develop their full potential.

Duties (not limited to the following) include:

• Carry out the daily operational duties such as supervising the residents' daily routines, including ensuring they have their meals, going to school, doing chores, attending programmes, keeping documentation up to date, maintaining the cleanliness of the premises, etc.
• Participate in shift-to-shift communication, which includes completing daily documentation and providing important handover information to staff at the change of every shift.
• Assess and respond to crises or conflicts and escalate to the Residential Manager/Head of Home when needed. 
• Participate in treatment/review meetings, familiarise oneself with the background, treatment plan, and daily progress of all clients, and help implement their treatment plans.
• Be a mentor/role model to the residents and provide any feedback to the Residential Manager and Social Worker on residents’ behaviours and compliance with activities that are part of their treatment plan.

Requirements

• 40 hours a week, 4-day work week (Able to work rotating shifts, including one weekend and public holidays)

Contract Period: 2 Jan 2025 - 31 Dec 2025 (with option to extend till 31 Dec 2026)

Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:

• Mondays to Fridays: 6:30am to 3.45pm, inclusive of 45 mins lunch break

• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays

Job Description:

Customer Service

• To assist in customer service at the counter

• To answer telephone calls and direct to the respective parties, if necessary

• To assist in administerring simple first aid for students

Generic Email

• To assist in the clearing of the generic emails

Data Entry using Microsoft Word or Excel

• To assist in data entry using Microsoft Word or Excel

Any other clerical duties

• To assist in any other clerical duties assigned

Job Requirements:

The Personnel shall minimally have the following qualifications, skills and experience:

• At least GCE ‘N’ or ‘O’ Level

• Good communication and inter-personal skills

• Good team player with a high level of initiative

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Please indicate proficiency in CV)

• Candidates must have at least 1 year of relevant experience in reception duty in schools between 2021 to 2024

The Assistant Manager, Hospitality role is to assist Head, Hospitality to complete all Hospitality-related operations in the Nursing Home, ensuring our establishment works smoothly and to assist in conducting training on Hospitality-related curriculum.

This role is responsible for building relationships with residents and their family members, identifying their needs and a seamless service delivery.

There will be an agreed Key Performance Indicators set for maintaining the service excellence of the nursing home.

Job Scope:

• Ensure that all Hospitality policies are implemented

• Prepare reports for Head, Hospitality review

Job Requirements:

• Min. Diploma/ Degree in hospitality or any relevant field
• Min. 2-3 years relevant experience in hospitality/ customer service field
