Opportunity
The candidate is required to re-engineer existing systems, provide solutions to integrate multiple platforms, provide technical support to maintenance team, support system testing and commissioning and compile operation manuals for systems and be involved in Customer Care Pre/Post-variation order activities. This candidate will also be tasked to take on and be accountable for keys maintenance activities, including providing the required project support from start to completion of various project stages.
Responsibilities:
- Assist team manager in managing day-to-day maintenance operation.
- Perform off site survey with clients to capture essential requirements.
- Re-engineer the systems through analysing and identifying areas for modifications/ enhancements.
- Provide solutions to resolve and/or integrate multiple platforms and hardware, e.g., CCTV, security card access.
- Compile operation manuals and liaising with principal suppliers and maintenance teams on performance of systems on site.
- Provide on-site technical support for variation orders received by Projects Delivery and Customer Care departments.
- Support maintenance on testing and commissioning by drafting specific tests and commissioning plans and rectification of systems’ faults.
- Resolve complex technical system issues and coordinate with both internal teams and external vendors /sub-contractors to meet client’s requirements.
- Provide guidance to junior engineers by providing hands-on training and guidance.
- Take on and be accountable for all system faults rectification and provide the required support to team members from start to full resolution stage.
- Support ad-hoc mini project planning, scheduling, and executing the delivery of projects within timeline and client’s expectations.
- Coordinate with internal resources and third parties/vendors, e.g. Sub- Contractors/Suppliers.
- Ensure all system faults are resolved within the required
- Ensure that all works are executed in accordance with approved requirements.
- Create and maintain comprehensive operational manual, including maintenance SOP.
- Perform safety and risk management for all works on site.
- Able to perform 24x7 standby duties to support maintenance and project teams when required.
- Any other duties that may be assigned.
Requirements:
- Preferably a Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Engineering.
- 3 - 5 years of relevant job experience in similar fields.
- Solid technical knowledge related to ELV works and telecommunication infrastructures.
- Strong interpersonal, customer management and communication skills.
- A good team player with the ability to multi-task.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent team player with the ability to meet tight project timeline and system resolution
