Job Description
The Lieutenant Curator (or LC for short) will support the Head Curator in managing the education team in the Dempsey club, supporting on day-to-day duties and inspiring the teaching team.
The role requires a qualified and professional teacher with an exceptional creative flare that brings the learning environment alive with laughter and FUN.
A creative thinker, someone who is organised and commercial with an open mind, and a desire to shape something new. Previous educational experience as must, and a willingness for ongoing learning through leadership.
They will teach classes, camps and be involved in all aspects of the educational team and club life in Singapore and the UK.
Their key responsibility is to help deliver an exceptionally warm and creative offering to our 3 core groups: children, their team, and parents.
First and foremost, they must love getting down and messy with children - we want someone who truly knows what it is to nurture and play at their level.

· Deliver engaging, fun, creative and immersive classes to inspire the future generation.
· Promote high standards of quality learning at all times, always pushing boundaries to be better.
· Ensure all resources are in line with our Make and Do ethos and our specialised approach to Early Years Education.
· Ensure practice and provision in our classes meet the expectations and requirements relevant to the class
· Manage children’s safety & follow Safeguarding procedures.
· Develop positive working relationships with all members of the Make + Do team, as well as the other departments
· A flexible approach to teaching - although you will generally teach one type of class, all our D.I.T Curators are required to be flexible and adaptable as you may be required to cover classes in another D.I.T curators’ absence
