Career Opportunity for an IT/Infrastructure Engineer

Our vision

IT software applications including Exchange Online, Azure AD, or a Microsoft 365 cloud infrastructure are progressively moved to the Cloud.

With MS Teams, we give the entire structure a framework that forms the central point of contact across all components.

To realize this vision and provide local IT support, we are looking for a highly motivated, committed IT personnel to be resided at our Singapore location.

Your Responsibility

− You are part of our Global IT group and support the Service Helpdesk globally

− Responsible for entire local IT set up, support, maintenance, backup and security

− Troubleshooting and analysis of problems

− Change, incident, request and problem handling according to ITIL standards

− Processing of assigned tickets from BAUMANN international environment

− Work closely with the internal service team as well as our external partners

− Participate in the execution of migrations and upgrades within the M365 platforms

− Assist in the planning, implementation and administration of M365 services such as Exchange Online/onPrem, SharePoint Online, Teams, Intune, OneDrive and other components

− Support in the conception and implementation up to the introduction of the projects in all phases for a sustainable operation, including Cloud projects

− Further development of our Digital Workplace vision

Your profile

− Possess a minimum Diploma in IT discipline

− Technical understanding of complex IT landscapes and infrastructures

− Experience in the planning and implementation of IT projects

− Experience in operating Microsoft based server landscapes (MS Server 2012 to 2022)

− Experience in the configuration, implementation and administration of Azure, M365, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Intune/SCCM and services

− Good understanding of hybrid environments and migration strategies

− Strong knowledge of security and compliance

− Mature and ability to work independently with integrity and honesty

− Good customer and service oriented mindset

− Ability to work in a team

− SAP knowledge is an advantage

− Min. 3 years relevant experience

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide customer with timely, professional, efficient and effective technical expertise on system support, cloud support, enterprise IT solutions (Virtualization, Server and SAN storage), system installation, configurations and provide onsite technical support for designated clients and locations
• Perform installation and maintenance of the IT infrastructure (Hardware and Software) including remote troubleshooting
• Support of replacement and upgrade for computer & server equipment
• Analyses software and hardware error logs, utilizes diagnostic and troubleshooting techniques and operating system analysis to ensure timely and effective repair.
• Analyses, diagnoses, troubleshoots and repairs hardware, storage area network and systems configuration and compatibility problems.

Technical Proficiency:

• Operating Systems: Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Networking: Familiarity with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls, and network protocols.
• Hardware: Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting servers, switches, routers, storage and other network devices.

• At least 2-4 years working experience in a Technical Support role.
• Experience with server configuration will be a plus.
• Must be able to take 24x7 standby duty and work after office hours and weekends

• Configure, test, and commission integrated audiovisual solutions.
• Design and develop custom graphical user interface (GUI) on control system touch panels and operational manuals.
• Configure IP addressable devices such as routers, switches, servers.

• Collaborate with in-house designers and engineers to deploy fully integrated solutions for venues.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in a technology related field or equivalent AV work experience.
• 2 years or more of previous employment in a technical position with an AV System Integration firm.

• Prefer a current programming certification from a major AV control equipment manufacturer such as Savant, Control4, Crestron, Extron, AMX or similar.
• Experience with control of audio DSP configuration software and control of major equipment manufacturers.
• Experience with TCP/IP networks as related to control systems and IP-based signal transport.
