Responsibilities for overseeing and managing construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, managing and supervising contractors and workers on site, ensuring that work is completed to the required quality standards, communicating with stakeholders, including clients, architects, and contractors

The role in the team may be any of health and safety, organisation of the site and those in it, supervision of materials on site, for the site work as well as people using these materials to accomplish different tasks on site. A Site engineer also ensures security is maintained on site.

Job Responsibilities:

• Team up with chemists to lead a team of lab analysts and technician in executing daily laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards and quality system implementation.
• Identify and drive initiatives to enhance laboratory operational efficiency and productivity.
• Manage laboratory inventory and equipment, including consumables/spare-parts inventory, equipment calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance planning, to meet quality and operational requirements consistently.
• Play a key role in product management of specialty materials for semiconductor wafer fabrication and related industries.
• Provide support in new product development processes (R&D), analytical metrology, and quality assurance for all products.
• Collaborate with other departments on continuous improvement projects to achieve business objectives.
• Foster and maintain strong customer relationships, offering product expertise, providing technical support for new product developments and addressing technical emergencies.
• Cultivate and strengthen relationships with external parties, including research collaboration partners and material suppliers, for existing and new product development.
• Perform Quality Control (QC) responsibilities, including conducting quality tests, inspections, and analyses to ensure product integrity and compliance with standards and specifications.
• Investigate deviations, out-of-specification results, and quality-related issues, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) as necessary.
• Develop and validate analytical methods for the testing of chemical compounds, ensuring accuracy, precision, and reliability.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment, ensuring they are in proper working condition for accurate testing and analysis.

Job Requirements:

• PhD or minimum Master's Degree in Chemistry or a related field.
• Working experience or significant exposure to specialty chemicals or semiconductor wafer fab supplier environments is considered an added advantage.
• Strong hands-on instrumentation experience such as ICP/MS, GC/MS, UV-Vis, GC/FID/TCD, IC, HPLC, GFAA, ICP/OES, NMR, and other measurement tools.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Hardworking, able to multi-task, and willing to work long hours.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and a strong sense of ownership.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize workload, be systematic, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Required Key Skills

Priority Tasks

• Workplace is at customer premises and staff has to follow instituted Workplace securities
• Perform Problem resolution, escalation and/or closure of incident including problem analysis and identification of the source of the problem w.r.t Routing and Switching
• Perform configuration change activities
• Provide problem status to the Service Desk and/or update into the ticketing tool according to the Procedures Manual
• Perform day-to-day Network operation for the Network Infra-structure and Network Equipment at the customer/IBM premises, including performance monitoring, bandwidth monitoring.
• Work with customer's vendor to perform testing and preventative maintenance according to the schedule provided by the customer for the Network Equipment
• Perform periodic OS upgrade and Patching as and when required.
• 24X5 rotational shift onsite availability and 24X7 standby / remote support availability as and when needed for critical incidents.
• Perform Problem resolution, escalation and/or closure of incident including problem analysis and identification of the source of the problem
• Provide proactive incident reports for all Network related problems, faults, events within TWENTY-FOUR (24) hours
• Respond to all fault calls inclusive of emails and other forms of communications for Firewall related issues and problems reported
• Escalate the problem to Vendors Support in timely manner and get the issue resolved within the specified time as agreed with the customer/IBM
• Provide multi-vendor equipment support across a wide range of models and types of networking equipment
• Maintain the inventory of certificates and install/update/renew certificates as and when required.
• Perform security activities like hardening/periodic health check/ ID validation and other compliance activities as per IBM security policies and standards.
• Maintain/Update IBM inventory list and compliance related databases or similar Databases.
• Maintain the device inventory list for the client when needed, Maintain the software/firmware for all the devices up to date
• Subscribe to vendor notifications for the managed devices for vulnerabilities and review/validate/apply security patches pro-actively.
• Perform device activation / deactivation as per IBM service activation and deactivation process.
• Maintain the IP address inventory and allocate new IP address when required by business.

We are seeking an individual with Structural technical experience for the position of Structural Project Engineer at Fortis Construction Pte. Ltd.  The candidate will work directly with the Project Manager and the subcontractors throughout the design and construction phase of the largest multistory data center in Asia (The Project).

The candidate will be accountable for ensuring the work required such as submittals, RFI’s, coordination drawings, updating documents, etc are complete, ready and approved for the steel subcontractors to perform their scope of work in the strictest of compliance to the contract documents.  This role is focused on managing the structural subcontractor field operations and installation details for a large complex data center project, having stringent technical requirements.  

It is expected that the candidate will be a very detail-oriented individual with previous experience working as a structural project engineer on data center projects and/or other complex technical projects.  There will be a significant amount of “hands-on” work coordinating approved design documents and ensuring installed work in the field complies with such documents.  The candidate must have robust Emotional Quotient (EQ) skills and be able to relate to and communicate with the client, the Fortis Construction Pte. Ltd. team, subcontractors of all tiers, vendors and immediately establish trust and confidence in his/her ability.

Responsibilities:

• Represent Fortis Construction Pte. Ltd. in the utmost professional manner while constantly embracing honesty, integrity, and truth
• Comply with Fortis Construction Pte. Ltd. anti-graft, non-bribery requirements
• Work intensively with the Fortis Construction Pte. Ltd. BIM team to coordinate all the structural trade work with other trades
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the contract documents (drawings and specifications), phasing plans, structural systems interrelationships, construction sequencing and project schedule
• Facilitate problem-solving, as may arise, between structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical and CSA subcontractors during construction
• Work closely with the CSA Project Manager to lead the structural subcontractor installation drawing approval process between the structural subcontractor, Resident Engineer, Resident Technical Officer, Accredited Checker, and the Local Authority having Jurisdiction, and Assist in the receipt and review of all Structural submissions
• Log and post all structural changes and as-built information on field drawings. Provide this information to the BIM team so it can be incorporated into the final virtual model.
  Ensure all information is current and communicated with the Structural/project team.
• Interface with the Fortis Construction Pte. Ltd. Owner Furnished Equipment (OFE) manager for all client-provided equipment
• Liaise with the structural engineering consultant, supervisory engineers, inspectors and relevant staff
• Implement the Fortis Construction Pte. Ltd. cloud-based QA/QC program for the structural scope of work
• Ensure that Structural Subcontractors adhere to relevant Quality documentation/records
• Assist in the testing and commissioning of Structural equipment
