• Support Trade Finance services in the bills operations function.
• Record and reconcile all incoming applications.
• Check incoming applications and ensure that they are complete.
• Ensure that compliance/sanction check is done before processing.
• Review and perform review of Name Hits in AML system and take necessary action.
• Perform data entries for all the Trade Products (from negotiation, collection, LC/BG issuance to Trade Loan) in the Trade System.
• Dispatch documents for all the products and liaise with Courier Company in case special arrangement is required.
• Scan documents/advices and email to customer with encrypted file.
• Filing of documents, mailing of advices and archiving of documents.
• Participate in UAT activities for system implementation / enhancement / migration activities, when necessary.
• Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Support frontline and adhere to anti-money laundering / counter terrorist financing requirement and sanction risks controls in accordance with regulatory standards and CNCBI policies.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Banking, Finance and Business related.
• Preferably with knowledge in trade documentation, LC issuance and bills operations.
• Preferably with knowledge of IMEX and Swift and PC literate.
• Preferably with knowledge in international Trade Finance rules/guidelines such as UCP, ISBP, ISP, URDG, URC, URR is advantageous.
• Understanding of the structured trade and commodity finance and the relevant control in collateral management would be an advantage.

Reporting Lines:

This position reports directly to the College Director. The incumbent’s primary role is to prepare and ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial statements to meet the requirements of various stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Handling full sets of accounts (AR/AP/GL);
• Filing and submission of taxes and payments, including GST;
• Perform and review month-end closing of accounts;
• Any other account, finance, and administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Candidate with a Diploma or Degree in Accounting / Business / Management would be preferred;
• Prior working experience is not required, but would be an advantage;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and MYOB;
• Knowledge in GST compliance and CPF regulations is an advantage;
• Detailed-oriented, independent, meticulous and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment;
• Team player with strong written communication skills.

Job Duties:

• Identify and address potential risks or escalated issues with the assistance of relevant stakeholders
• Utilize information from regulatory changes and internal policy changes to further identify new key areas of risk
• Analyze comparative data, prepare and present reports related to AML risk assessments, and monitor AML related issues and escalation
• Conduct investigations and research on potentially suspicious clients using various internal and external systems and databases
• Document and report investigation findings
• Prepare case files with the required supporting documentation
• Management of risk by analyzing root cause of issues and the impact to business
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor
