As Senior Cost Manager reporting to our Head of Cost, you will work closely with the rest of the Development team, making an impact in a number of ways:

• Lead all aspects of construction estimates and build costs that are business-critical for our hyper-scale data centre projects in Asia Pacific Region
• Develop and document costs/estimating to phase & project objectives and results

Your Day to Day

• Work closely with in region General Contractor and QS partners to deliver construction estimates to approved cost, time, and quality measures and own the development of these measures for the program
• Clearly communicate any construction cost constraints to the project team
• Collaborate with Engineering Technology & Procurement (OSE) to create and drive detailed cost plans
• Accountable for maintaining construction budgets within their program, speak to and provide an explanation of the overall cost structure.
• Identify, incorporate, and mitigate risks and issues on assigned estimating projects
• Identify recurring issues and trends using metrics data, and work with key partners to find permanent solutions
• Develop standard cost/estimate as needed for repeatable builds within their region or sphere of control and for new customers, vendors, and technologies
• Overall ownership of an ongoing cost input including definition, and performance metrics
• Evaluate the impacts of construction change on other construction constraints. Evaluate multiple options for absorbing the change in order to mitigate the negative impact on the project.
• Maintain cost and estimate reporting and documentation in accordance with standard practices
• Identify value engineering opportunities and incorporate these into the construction budgets and designs

• Have successfully cost-estimated and planned processes and procedures for complex large-scale Data Centre construction projects over $500m in capex value, within the APAC region

Key Responsibilities：

1. Financial Analysis and Reporting:

• Analyze financial data and provide insightful reports to support decision-making by the management team.
• Prepare and present accurate financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Develop financial models and forecasts to support budgeting and financial planning processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and local financial regulations.

2. Business Partnering:

• Collaborate with internal management teams to provide financial insights, strategic analysis, and recommendations to drive business growth.
• Engage with global clients' stakeholders to build strong financial relationships and support their financial needs.

3. Pricing, Forecasting, and Budgeting:

• Develop and implement pricing strategies and methods to optimize revenue and profitability.
• Forecast revenue and expenses, track financial performance against budgets, and identify areas for improvement.
• Partner with Account Leaders to formulate accurate estimates and financial projections.

4. Financial Operations:

• Oversee month-end financial closing processes, including revenue recognition, internal billing, and reconciliation of accounts.
• Monitor accounts receivables and payables, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.
• Review financial processes and suggest improvements for increased efficiency.

5. Any ad-hoc tasks as assigned by Management.

Requirement:

• Bachelor Degree in Accountancy or Finance Management
• Minimum two years of relevant experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to understand and analyse financial data
• Meticulous with a positive attitude

Responsibilities:

• Lead Finance team, oversee accounts and financial activities including financial performance
• Communication with suppliers, customers, bankers, auditors, tax consultants and authorities
• Work with BU in planning, projecting and contract negotiating activities
• Prepare financial budget & forecasts
• Prepare, present monthly financial and management reports
• Analyze revenue, expenses, cash flows, and balance sheets
• Ensure accurate filing and record keeping for all financial statements, documents & business contracts
• Oversee regulatory, ISO compliance and corporate sustainability reporting requirements
• Any other ad-hoc duties & projects assigned

Job Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy/Finance or an equivalent certifications
• Membership of ISCA
• Min 7 years working experience in the accounting & audit field
• At least 3 years of experience in audit and 3 years of management experience
• Strong understanding of local financial, legal and tax requirements
• Knowledge in using Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Jet Report would be advantageous

Digital:

• Maintenance of membership database and records online.
• Refresh of content on the SAS website and supporting digital initiatives, management of the payment checkout and finance functions.
• Maintenance of user access on SharePoint and email mailboxes.
