Purchasing & Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate and complete weekly/monthly forecasts for processors that ensure supply to the company is prioritized and pricing competitiveness over-indexes on current volumes.
• Monitor inventory levels daily to optimize replenishment planning and identify slow moving lines.
• Ensure slow moving stock is cleared well before expiry date, to minimize obsolescence and write-off.
• Work closely with Inventory team to ensure space capacity and inventory planning are aligned with incoming shipments prior to stock ordering.
• Plan and execute stock replenishment by way of purchase orders.

Category Management

• Analyze market and consumption trends, the competitive landscape, supply-chain movements and processor/production volumes to identify opportunities and threats within the category.
• Maintain understanding of the price drivers affecting pricing per product SKU into Singapore and its impact on buy/hold/clear position that the company needs to take.
• Develop and implement category strategies to achieve business objectives and goals that support market and sales team opportunities for growth
• Work closely with the sales and business development teams curate a product assortment within the category, considering factors like product supply continuity, quality, pricing, and consumer demand.
• Identify new products/suppliers that fulfil range gaps whether due to changing supplier circumstances or new growth opportunities.
• Monitor and manage the performance of products to continually identify poor performing lines for delisting and identify new product opportunities that will enhance the product range offer.
• Ensure that all products meet relevant importation regulations and food safety standards.

REQUIREMENTS:

Our client within the FMCG industry, is looking for experienced and passionate HR talents to join their growing business as HR Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Learning & Development and Talent Management

• Implement L&D initiatives focused on leadership, management, communication, and teamwork.
• Collaborate with leaders to conduct annual training needs assessments.
• Coordinate and manage the delivery of training programs.
• Assess team-specific needs and challenges regarding skills and resources.
• Identify and develop high performers for career progression.
• Recognize skill gaps and provide appropriate training or development solutions.
• Work with leaders to create development plans for employees.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of team structures to provide support and advice during times of organizational change.

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

• Employ effective recruitment and selection strategies.
• Develop innovative methods to identify potential candidate pools.
• Collaborate with managers to recruit or appoint suitable internal or external candidates.
• Maintain a clear process for recruitment and promotion.
• Handle all new employee records, and manage process from onboarding until confirmation.
• Ensure new hires receive appropriate induction programs coordinated by their managers.

Compensation & Benefits

• Stay updated on market remuneration trends through external resources, candidate interviews, employee surveys, and exit interviews.
• Ensure managers understand market remuneration and its relevance to their teams.
• Maintain a clear understanding of employee capabilities and role requirements to align with market remuneration.
• Handle salary reviews, promotions, and adjustments in employee records.

Employee Relations

• Foster a management culture that emphasizes accountability and performance.
• Ensure position descriptions and standard operating procedures are always up-to-date.
• Ensure managers complete annual performance appraisals for all employees.
• Manage employee feedback through formal and informal systems.
• Support managers in addressing and resolving productivity and team performance issues.
• Promptly communicate any serious grievances to appropriate management and ensure best practice handling following policy and procedures.
• Actively promote safe work practices and compliance with all designated policies.
• Ensure consistent and fair application of Code of Conduct policies and processes.
• Address formal disciplinary issues and terminations as necessary.

HR Operations

• Maintain comprehensive employee records, including any changes to employment agreements, documented salary reviews, promotions, and updated signed position descriptions.
• Keep personal file records of employee skills and training.
• Ensure ongoing legal compliance with relevant legislation, including right to work and visa validity.
• Monitor time and attendance records and address any concerns at the individual or team level.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related disciplines
• Minimum 5 years of experience in full spectrum of Human Resources function
• Proven experience as an HR Manager or in a similar HR leadership role
• Proven experience in managing white collared and blue collared employees
• Familiarity with Singaporean employment laws and regulations
• Experience within food/fast moving consumer goods (FMCG)/beverage industry will be preferred
• High competence in stakeholder management

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and implement fleet management strategies for the company, ensuring timely execution.
• Optimize the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the existing fleet management system, making necessary improvements.
• Oversee all aspects of fleet logistics, including GPS tracking for trucks, fleet administration, and vehicle servicing.
• Maintain and update records for all fleet tracking systems.
• Supervise vehicle repairs and maintenance by establishing a robust vehicle management system.
• Ensure compliance with quality control and assurance standards across all fleet management areas.
• Implement cost-saving measures without compromising service quality.
• Keep accurate documentation and records for all fleet activities.
• Schedule regular maintenance and management checkups for vehicles.
• Manage drivers and their roles, ensuring adherence to company rules and regulations.
• Assess performance metrics and introduce improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vehicle leasing companies and third-party service providers for long-term partnerships.
• Recruit, train, and supervise the delivery team, providing effective leadership and fostering a high-performing team.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a fleet manager, logistics manager, or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of fleet servicing, scheduling, analysis, and operations.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Valid Class 3 driver’s license is preferred.
• In-depth understanding of the foodservice industry and current trends.
• Proficiency with computerized fleet management software/tools.
• Excellent analytical, decision-making, and leadership skills.

• Working hours: 5.5 days work week
