JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Manager on Duty, the F&B Supervisor will be responsible for delivering a seamless and delightful dining experience for our guests.

What you will be DOING:

Floor Service

· Familiarise with the restaurant set-up and all the food & beverage items on the menu and/or on-going promotions.

· Perform pre-operation and side station preparation and organisation.

- 1 - 2 years relevant working experience

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Knowledge about beer, wine in general and alcoholic beverages

- Ability to use transaction operational system (POS)

- Bilingual (communicate in other Asian language will be an advantage)

Job Description:

- Assist restaurant manager in daily operations

- Responsible for and supervise the activities of service personnel to ensure efficient and effective operations

- Ensure that customers receive a warm welcome and attentive service from service staff throughout their visit

- Handle customer complaints/feedback and ensure immediate remedial action is taken in a professional manner

- Supervise and ensure all food and beverages are served to customers in a timely manner

- Recommend special dishes to customers and up-sell where possible

- Supervise and assist (hands-on) service staff preparation and setup (before business begins)

- Supervise and assist (hands-on) service staff in clearing tables after customers leave (wiping tables and clearing dishes)

- Ensure the restaurant is kept clean from start to finish

- Ensure compliance with all hygiene and cleanliness standards required by the NEA (eg. broken glassware, cleanliness of utensils, etc..)

- Coordinate with colleagues and kitchen chefs/staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations

- Perform any ad-hoc duties assigned by managers and management.

-Order supplies to stock inventory appropriately

-Verify and endorse all incoming products & raw materials

-Help in the preparation and design of all food and drinks menus.

-Produce high quality plated both design and taste-wise

-Assist in preparation, washing, peeling, chopping, cutting all food ingredients.

-Cleaning the food preparation equipment and other kitchen tools, housekeeping.

-Ensuring the food preparation areas are clean and hygienic.

-Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards

-Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situation

-Monitor portion control to meet requests and minimize waste

-Maintain a positive and professional approach with customers

-Ready to work any shift.
-Willing to work on weekends and public holiday

· Must be able to work night shift and split shift

· Must be able to work extra hours or weekend if needed

Description

• Ensure cleanliness of the food shop, all equipment, tools and physical building surfaces.
• Manage invoices & receipts for all stocks.
• Coordinate with suppliers on orders and deliveries.
• Handle cash, inventory and prepare nighty closing reports.
• Provide customer service that is fast and friendly.
• Adhere to all food hygiene standard and procedures.
• Supervise and arrange staff work schedule according to needs.
• Any duties which may be assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in F&B outlets, i.e. Food courts, coffee shop and canteen.
• Must prepare to work during weekends, public holiday and overtime as and when required.
• Good communication skills.
