- Inspect the construction site to ensure all facilities and equipment relevant to the maintenance of environmental health are in proper working condition and do not pose any environmental health hazard;

- Point out and discuss environmental health irregularities such as mosquito and fly breeding, rodent infestation, noise/ dust/ smoke/water pollution, poor housekeeping, earth littering, poor refuse management, poor maintenance of sanitary facilities, etc. with the occupier of the construction site and recommend measures to rectify such irregularities;

- Attend to all feedback on such irregularities and inform the occupier of the construction site accordingly;

- Report and submit a Site Environmental Control Report to the occupier of the construction site once every monthly

- Assist the authorities to investigate outbreaks of infectious, vector borne or food-borne diseases on the construction site;

- Organize campaigns, training courses and other activities to develop and sustain the interest of workers in maintaining good environmental health standards in the construction site.

- The Environmental Control Officer (ECO) is responsible for introducing Environmental Awareness to all Workers / Staff at Site.

- The role of an ECO is to advise the occupier of the construction site on what needs to be done.

- The ECO shall look out for conditions/ situations in construction site which causes environmental health problems or are likely to cause environmental health problems. He should report these conditions/ situations to the occupier of the construction site together with recommendations on remedial measures to be taken to prevent recurrence. Earth Control Measures Officer (ECMO)

- Specific responsibilities and duties of the Earth Control Measures Officer shall emphasize on the following main areas of concern:Implementation of Earth Control Measure (ECM) Plan according to the QECP’s design

- Work closely with and assist the Qualified Erosion Control Professional (QECP) and other stakeholders on all matters related to the earth control measures for the project site

- Devise the effective operation of earth control measures for the project site

• Discuss the findings of his inspection with the supervisor employed in the worksite who is in charge of the machinery, plant, equipment, appliance, process or manual labour and report such findings to the Occupier, Project Manager or any person in charge of the worksite.
• Assist the site supervisor in investigation of any accident which took place within the worksite arising from the use of such machinery, plant, equipment, appliance or manual labour and check the supervisor’s report thereon and the action taken to remove the cause or causes of such accident.
• Investigate into every fatal accident and dangerous occurrence which took place within the worksite and any industrial disease contracted in the worksite. Act as advisor to the accident investigation committee.
• Assist to prepare a comprehensive accident report for submission to WSH Manager and Project Manager within 1 working day in the event of accidents.
• In the interest of Safety & Health of the persons employed in the worksite, advise the occupier of the worksite on the specifications:
• for any repair or alteration to be made to the worksite or any extension thereon; and
• of any new machinery, plant, equipment or appliance to be installed or used in the worksite;

Job Description:

1. To carry out your duties and responsibilities and implement safety procedures in line with the requirements under the WSH Act and other subsidiary legislations.

2. To assist the Project Manager in managing and implement the quality, environmental, health and safety (QEHS) management systems of Pikasa Builders Pte Ltd on site.

3. Registration as a WSH Officer with MOM.

4. Familiar with LTA cycling path network projects will be na advantage.

5. To liase with relevant authorities on all matters concerning site safety and security.

6. To assist in accident and injury investigations and conduct independent investigations on all accidents and recommend improvents in safety.

7. To update and submit monthly reports to LTA.

8. Able to conduct meetings and presentations for LTA monthly safety meetings.

9. Familiar with ISO and ConSASS Audit.

10. Strong communication skills to be able to engage clients and staff on WSH matters and inspections.

11. Strong presentation skills to conduct meetings, training and engage clients and staff during meetings and audits.

12. Strong documentation and paperwork pertaining to WSH matters.

13. Exercise own initiative and able to be independent pertaining to WSH matters at project site.

Job Requirements:

1. Willing to travel to multiple sites

2. Possess/own transport (bike) will be an advantage

3. Possess ECO license will be an advantage

4. At least 2 years of experience in the related field

5. Must have WSHO licence under MOM

6. Strong presentation and report writing skills is a must

Main Functions & Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative support to the HR Manager (L&D)

Overview

Primary Responsibilities:

• Serves as resource person in education/nursing training matters and clinical issues to provide high quality standard of care
• Plans and provides direct clinical supervision for nursing students and junior staff
• Facilitates the clinical learning environment of nursing students to improve nursing students’ learning experiences
• Monitors and evaluates nursing students’ feedback; develop action-plans collaboratively with ward nursing colleagues to improve nursing students’ learning experiences
• Collaborates with education institution to ensure nursing students’ application of learning int- practice, e.g. hand hygiene compliance

Requirements

• Diploma in Nursing with relevant post-basic advanced certification and Degree in Nursing from recognized training institution as approved by Singapore Nursing Board. A teaching qualification would be an advantage Interest t- teach nursing training and development activities
