The key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

5) Operations:

• Monitor changes in labour laws and industry-specific regulations and update HR policies in accordance with Employment Act and Government Regulations

6) Performance Management:

7) Reports and Budgeting:

• Prepare staff reports per statutory requirements and for Management review, makes presentations to Management and staff, where necessary

• Assist in budgeting process and act as an advisory to Heads of Department on manpower planning

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor degree / Graduate Diploma in HR Management / Diploma in Learning and Development at least 5 years of relevant experience preferably in a hospitality industry.

We are looking for a Human Resource Manager that is excited about the below Mission and Outcomes over the next 6-12 months.

Mission:

The HR Manager will play a fundamental  role in shaping a positive and inclusive workplace culture, supporting the Head of HR in delivering initiatives that enhance employee engagement, retention and development. The HR manager is also responsible for delivering seamless HR operations across all  regions with a focus on office management, employee data compliance, payroll, staff training, coordinating and reviewing engagement surveys and benefits programs. 

Outcomes: 

1. Ensure 100% accurate and timely payroll processing, In collaboration with the Finance department, across all regions and resolving any payroll-related discrepancies 

2. Maintain accuracy with zero to two data errors each month by managing and maintaining employee data, ensuring all employee contracts, benefits, and personal data are up-to-date on a weekly basis, accurate and securely stored in the regional HRIS and the HR masterlist

3. Achieve 90% office capacity in our 3 Singapore offices from Monday to Friday and create a welcoming work environment ,including stocking pantry supplies, managing the biometric system for employee access and working with vendors for cleaning, aircon servicing, and other office needs  and to resolve other office related issues promptly

About the interview process

The successful candidate will participate in the below interview stages. 

It might seem like a lot - but fear not - we come prepared! We anticipate the process to last no more than 3 weeks from start to finish depending on your availability.

Introductory call

• A ~30 minute video call with a member of our HR team to discuss your application and get a better understanding of your experience and expectations for the role

Project or case study or technical test

1. Create a compensation strategy for all employees based on market research and pay surveys; keeps the strategy up to date.
2. Ensure a robust internal and external benchmarking processes is followed in all compensation and benefit related activities.
3. Build local knowledge in the reward/benefit processes.
4. Review and keep up to date with external trends to ensure the Company compensation package stays competitive in the market.
5. Facilitate job analysis and work with the management to update job descriptions.
6. Manage benefits vendors. Review and negotiate on insurance renewal.

Talent Development/Management

1. Spearhead talent development and management cycle. Monitor and track on retention of key talents.
2. Spearhead the induction program of new joiners, fostering team coordination and retaining the current workforce.
3. Create and manage a performance appraisal system that drives effective development.
4. Spearhead the annual appraisal system and execution is within stipulated timeline.
5. Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
6. Partnering with people leaders to evaluate the need for employee training and development that support the overall business strategy.

Change Management

1. Be a change champion – utilize and drive change management tools.
2. Coach management on how to lead and direct change.
3. Manage and support change programs.

Organization Design

1. Stay abreast of any changes in strategy, legislation, market, and business model that could impact on organizational structures.
2. Facilitate processes to drive structural changes where required.
3. Analyse structures and make recommendation for enhancement from an effectiveness, efficiency and alignment point of view.
4. Identify critical positions within structures.
