Project Specialist is responsible for handle Smart Home project, taking responsibility for the entire project process, oversee the financial performance of smart home projects, focusing on continuous improvement based on feedback

What's your role?

• Product Development: Stay up-to-date on the latest home technologies and trends, oversee the product development lifecycle, including collaborating with suppliers to creting cutting-edge smart home solutions
• Supplier Liaison: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure product quality and timely delivery
• Work closely with the Marketing Team and Design Team to develop cohesive branding strategies and product positioning.
• Coordinate with the Retail Team to ensure seamless integration of smart home products in-store and online
• Smart Home System Setup: Lead the installation, configuration, and optimization of smart home systems in both residential and commercial settings.
• Team Leadership: Manage a diverse team of professionals, including Interior Designers, Technicians, and Installers, ensuring smooth operations and project delivery.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Generate leads through all channels for solar deployment and qualify the leads after understanding the requirements of each customer.
• Follow up with the leads by meeting Customer’s key stakeholders to present our business proposal.
• Work with Engineering team to arrange site visits at the Customer’s site to derive the EPC costs required for the project. Relevant technical training on solar PV system will be provided.
• Use the Financial Model to derive the commercial offer to the customer. Review Financial Model assumptions and be able to provide justifications for each parameter.
• Prepare proposal to Customer and provide the necessary technical details.
• PA review and negotiations with Customer, and seeking Legal input whenever required.
• Diligently use CRM as the key platform to capture all customer details, process governance and maintain customer relationships.
• Close PPA contracts with the Customer after seeking necessary endorsements from respective functional leads (engineering, finance, risk and legal.
• Manage assigned key accounts during project execution and operational phase.
• Take charge of submission of bids for any large-scale Government Tenders.
• Prepare investment papers and work with group functions (from engineering, finance, risk and legal perspectives) to seek project approval from the Investment Committee.
• Work in a team within Business Development as well as cross-departments to develop new solutions, optimize processes, or work in other special projects/ assignments.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in Business Development/ Commercial related roles, preferably in the energy/ renewables sector
• Good understanding of Power market in Singapore, as well as the risks and value drivers in solar PV projects
• Demonstrated ability in successfully working with cross-functional teams including technical groups, finance/ accounting functions, and project development.
