RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure in-house technicians and any contractors have met the workplace, safety & health and fire safety regulations upon carrying out any rectification or replacement work.

Wise’s audiovisual team ensures that all the AV equipment is ready for events and meetings in our offices across the world. (1) Service Technician (Home Appliances)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1) Provides after-sales technical service on the breakdown, troubleshooting and repair of home appliances (Fridge, Washing Machine, Wine Chiller, etc)

2) Attend to walk-in customers for technical support

3) Handle customers’ enquiries on technical issues

4) Follow up on outstanding issues in a timely manner

5) Spare parts ordering and control

KEY REQUIREMENTS

1) NITEC/Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering/Air-conditioning & Refrigeration

2) Knowledge & skills in refrigerators, washing machines and other home appliances servicing and repairs

3) Team player, Trustworthy, Customer-oriented and Attention to detail

4) Process class 3 driving licence

5) Computer skills with MS Office applications knowledge

6) Team player, Trustworthy, Customer-oriented and Attention to detail

· Setting up electrical connections in R&D equipment

· Setting up of Jigs

· Other R&D tasks as required (PCB testing, assembly, soldering, paneling, cabling and misc work)

· Performing Goods Receipt

· Labelling and Packaging of components

· Inventory storage and housekeeping

· Training will be provided

Requirements:-

· Possess engineering experience in Mechanical/Electronics, or equivalent

· At least 3 years experiences in relevant or related field

· Good communication and interpersonal skill

· Proactive with good initiatives, problem solving skill and analytical ability

· Technical knowledge and hands-on skills on monitoring,troubleshooting, servicing, maintenance and tool recovery

· Able to work under pressure

· Experienced In Assembly, Automation, Testing / Soldering / Machine Alignment (eg. Perpendicularity) preferred

· Must be able to work night shift or split shift
. Must be able to work extra hours or weekend if needed

• Proficiency in project management tools and software.
