The Cleaning Operations Manager is responsible for providing the overall direction of the organisation within the guidelines set up by the board of directors or a similar governing body. As a systems thinker, he strategizes and directs operational activities and translate organisational goals into achievable steps, anticipates and stays ahead of trends and takes advantage of opportunities. He also mentors the management team as part of succession planning and represents the organisation in meetings with clients, investors and business partners.

He is expected to be at our project sites and build relationships with our clients and work closely with the Cleaning Operations Executive as part of his role.

This requires him to be organised, strategic, adaptable, highly driven and capable of interacting with key stakeholders.

- Coordinate with supervisor and client to ensure quality service delivery (compiling, analysing, development and review of operation plans to improve work procedures and quality service delivery)

- Assist in budget planning for cleaning operations
- Review daily cleaning job reports for submission to management
- Preparing periodic schedules and all other documentations and ensure all periodic schedules has been enforced and followed up accordingly.
- Covering of manpower if needed (requires you to do hands-on cleaning)
- Recruiting of manpower for projects
- Resolving all matters/ incidents on site

6. Manage inventory, equipment and maintenance schedule

- Stocktake and allocating of equipment and/or technologies and supplies to project sites
- Identify and recommend suitable equipment and/or technologies to improve cleaning operations
- Implement maintenance schedules for tools and equipment

7. Manage cleaning teams

- Facilitating in planning of work schedules, deployment of manpower, effective work processes and capability development of staff

8. Manage incidents

- Guide teams to respond to major incidents/emergencies and reporting it to the management

9. Any other tasks as assigned by the reporting officer.

Commercial planning & monitoring

• To communicate and negotiate with vendors regarding supplies, equipment and service contracts in order to obtain best terms and conditions

• To assist in the identification of duplications, alternative, manufacturer and OEM sources of the supply as part of purchasing cost saving effort
• Involve actively in market trend analysis and negotiation meetings with contractors to achieve the services of the required quality competitively and to ensure maximum value for money
• Scrutinize award recommendations and exercise due diligence as part of tender evaluation committee
• To evaluate vendors’ performance and maintain a vendor’s performance rating system and record
• To liaise with insurance companies for lost/damaged consignments and verify payment request
• To recover claims for defective materials supplied by the vendors
• To liaise with Suppliers / Contractors to develop material specification and keeping abreast of market condition to enable cost optimization
• To protect the confidentiality of Purchasing and Company Financial information available to him in the course of his work, putting integrity and strict moral code above all else in the interest of the profession
• To support all LTA’s New Rail Financial Framework (NRFF) purchases
• To support in integration and migration between MMS and COMPASS

Requirements:

• Degree in Supply Chain / Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Civil / any
  Engineering related disciplines
• Preferably 5 years working experience in supplies operations of a large firm
• Familiar with Materials Management System would be an added advantage
• Familiar with shipping documents and procedures is preferred
• Strong communication, negotiation, organization and planning skills
• Self-motivated, resourceful and results-oriented

The FP&A Manager will be dedicated to MedTech sector and will partner with Finance leader of the South East Asia cluster in enabling Business Unit Finance’s success in Planning & Updates, Reporting, and Analytics as well as cluster controlling activities. This role will be critical in developing relationships with key stakeholders within the Business Unit Finance team as well as relevant Business Partners to ensure their FP&A needs are being met.

The Manager will supervise a team of 3 analysts and be responsible for coaching, providing feedback and developing the necessary FP&A skills of the analysts. You will play a pivotal role in reviewing critical outputs / work products produced by the Analysts and forging internal collaboration across the team to ensure high service delivery.

The FP&A manager will also business partner with SEA functional leads and will take a responsibility for the controllership of the SEA regional office.

The FP&A manager will play a pivotal role in the simplification & standardization initiatives as well as SigniFi transformation. You will ensure appropriate standardization of FP&A activities within the cluster and will support Regional FP&A Director in identifying and evaluating opportunities to refine and enhance the global standards. You will play a critical change management role in the journey to SigniFi, as well as serve a key role in implementing and refining new FP&A capabilities for the MedTech Asia Pac team.

The FP&A manager will work closely with other tiers of Finance to maintain an understanding of the broader P&L. Your core understanding of the FP&A process, as well as your ability to take ownership for performance and development of others, will be vital to the success of the MedTech Asia Pac team as a whole.

Qualifications - External
