· To manage day to day operations of the Account & HR departments.

· To manage Accounts payable (bill payments, salaries, petty cash etc.) and Accounts receivable through cash / cheque / voucher in a timely manner

· To establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions

· To maintain and reconcile cash / financial accounts

· GST Filing & Filing of Income Tax

· To complete and coordinate annual audits and provide recommendations for improving procedures and systems for initiating corrective actions

· To organize, compile, update and renewal of company licenses

· To manage HR functions such as payrolls, update employee benefits, employment status such as new hires, terminations, sick leaves, warnings, vacations and days off

· Processing of Work Pass Applications / Cancellations / Transfers (Work Permit, S Pass and E Pass)

· Monthly CPF contribution and submission

· To upkeep workers training and certificate renewal

· Other ad-hoc duties when assigned

Key Responsibilities:

· To prepare the statutory accounts, Head Office report, corporate tax schedules, GST quarterly submission.

· To help in liaising with tax agent on corporate tax, ACAP review and transfer pricing document review.

· To monitor and report to HOD for changes/updates in Singapore Financial Reporting Standards including updating of procedure manual. Relevant laws such as Banking Act, Income Tax Act, Goods & Services Tax Act, Company Act etc.

· To support in the implementation of new or changes to the above.

· To support daily accounts operations duties such as journal input, system operation and other daily routine duties.

· To support any work-related duties assigned by HOD from time to time.

· Any other ad-hoc assignment as required.

Skill/Qualification:

· Minimum a Diploma.

· Minimum 5 years of working experience in accounting department, corporate tax schedules and preparing GST quarterly submission.

· Preferable familiar with Bank’s statutory accounts.

· Possess strong analytical skills.

· Good communication skill and preferably proficient in Japanese language to work closely with stakeholders in Japan Head Office (Tokyo).

· Proficient in Microsoft Excel is a must.

Duties

• Oversee day-to-day financial matters, month-end and year-end accounts closing related to Payroll, which include:
• Pre-Payroll activities including, input and update employee details and manage government claims.
• Payroll activities including, process payroll, process CPF, and manage payroll payments.
• Post-Payroll activities, including provision for bonus, manage month-end/year-end closing, submission of IRAS Tax Declaration Annual Form 8E, and answer employee payroll enquiries.
• Regular review on compliance to statutory requirements.
• Supports and provides advice in structuring and developing the team to ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day Payroll operations.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors and/or tax agents on payroll related matters.
• Acts as contact point to institutional Finance and HR Partners closely to ensure organizational readiness and capability to deliver business results.
• Handle ad-hoc projects as and when requested.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Business Administration/Commerce/Accountancy/HR or equivalent
