EVENTS EXECUTIVE

The successful candidate will report to the Head of Events and assume the following responsibilities:

• Provide administrative support for RSIS’ Events Unit;
• Assume the role of Event Lead for events;
• Assist the Event Supervisor to organise and manage events with responsibilities for all administrative and logistical tasks including, where necessary, liaison with speakers and guests, flight and accommodation arrangements, vendors liaison, budget management, conducting of rehearsals and virtual test calls;
• Monitor the progress of event planning and execution;
• Ensure the event administrative and operational requirements are met; and
• Ensure compliance with RSIS and NTU policies and regulations.

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma with minimum 3 years’ relevant experience.
• Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Proficiency in virtual events software is preferred.
• Knowledge of ITQ/ITT process for procurement of goods and services is preferred.

As part of a 14-man team, the Accounts Executive will be responsible for the daily accounting and reviewing the transaction of the business. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for year-end audit procedures, quarterly GST reporting, and the preparation of various reports.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Possess at least a Diploma in Accountancy or LCCI/ Nitec equivalent

• At least 1 year(s) of working experience in F&B/ FMCG/ Retail/ Beauty sector

• Working experience in handling Full sets of Accounts (accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) and general ledger (GL))

• Strong proficiency in MS Office (including MS Excel)

• Working knowledge in NetSuite or Navision is a plus

• Strong command of English

1. Be responsible to support day-to-day operations in warehouse by ensuring adequate manpower to perform warehouse duties.
2. Plan and coordinate with customer service teams to ensure timely operations (shipments clearance and delivery) execution.
3. To fulfill customer request and immediate resolve if complaint raise.

5. To conduct inventory count and assist to verify stock discrepancies.
6. To ensures the security and accountability of materials and goods with inventory control.

8. To organize the layout of warehouse and ensure effective utilization of warehouse spacing.
9. To supervise a team of assistant supervisor and material handlers for stuffing and un-stuffing of containers for export and import shipments.
10. Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
11. Suggest improvements to eliminate hazards, feedback on inadequacy of operational control, risk assessment and safe work procedure.
12. Evaluate the performance of assigned personnel and provide training experience, conduct disciplinary action and recommend dismissal as require.
13. Ensure functional activities integrate with organizational requirements for quality management, regulatory compliance and customer needs.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure operational efficiency of all Front Office areas during shift and the service delivery of those areas, including but not limited to check in, check out, currency exchange, room change, audit balances, daily reports, food and beverage service according to established policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• University degree with preferably 1-2 years of working experience

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the role will be part of a cohesive team ensuring the financial records of the hotel are processed and updated efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain records of invoice received, payments, journal entries and other accounting records of the operations of the companies
• Ensure payments are made within 60 days of invoice receipt, other than those with exceptional reasons.
• Posting of all suppliers’ invoices, ensure all goods stated on the invoice correspond with those stated on the purchase order and they are correctly received, computed and approved
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations, supplier statement reconciliations and other necessary reconciliations
• Prepare monthly payment via Telegraphic Transfers and cheque
• Prepare supporting schedules for balance sheet items and income and expenses accounts
• Prepare monthly Accounts Payable aging report for review and approval
• Any other duties assigned by supervisor

• Degree/Diploma in Accountancy
• 2-4 years of experience in a similar capacity
• Familiar with hotel industry practices and processes
