Capital Fixed Income Investors (CFII), part of the Capital Group Companies, has been managing fixed-income strategies since 1973 and has over $500bn in assets under management. We have an experienced team of more than 30 Fixed Income Traders in Los Angeles, London, New York and Singapore. CFII is seeking an experienced trader to support the ongoing evolution of its Asia Fixed Income business. Based in Singapore, you will be responsible for continuing development and management of our business in the region. We are looking for someone with a strong rates background, who can also trade multiple products and sectors. The successful candidate will have proven success in trading, as well as a collaborative and entrepreneurial spirit that will help us continue to grow our business in Asia.

As a Fixed Income Trader, you will contribute to the team in the following ways:

• Execute trades and identify trading strategies/investment opportunities in Asian sovereign bond, Asian credit, emerging markets, and US Rates and FX markets
• Build and maintain strong external and internal relationships throughout the Asian region, develop strong relationships with broker-dealers in the region, and conduct regular reviews of the relationship to optimize effectiveness of the partnership
• Communicate regularly with Capital’s London, Los Angeles and New York trading desks to ensure a global view on bond and FX markets
• Collaborate with Capital’s investment professionals worldwide to discuss market trends and investment strategies from a local perspective
• Liaise with Investment Operations and other fixed income business units to maintain order flow integrity, monitor risk and improve communication

• Minimum 7-10 years trading experience, within Asian or related Fixed Income markets
• Fluent English speaker with strong communication skills
• Bachelors or Master’s degree in business, economics or other quantitative major
• Willingness to spend several months in Capital Group’s London and Los Angeles offices, before commencing permanent assignment in Singapore
• Self-starter and collaborative team player
• Able to work calmly, flexibly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Job Description

• Perform all payroll related functions for a headcount of approximately 300
• Perform tax clearance and yearly reporting to authority
• Submission of pro-family claims and any related authorities' salary claim e.g. NS reservist pay; childcare; paternity and maternity claims; FWL etc
• Work with HR team in employee related claims e.g. Work Injury and H&S Claim
• Process and maintain work pass; quotas and renewal requests
• Perform monthly payroll reporting

Job Requirement

• 1 to 2 years of payroll and related experience with work pass exposure
• Diploma/Certificate/GCE "O" level in business related discipline
• Confident to communicate and interact with all levels fluently in more than one language
• Ability to work under tight timelines and possess a positive mindset with a "can do" attitude
• Meticulous and focus in details
• Ability to work cohesively in a team

Job Responsibilities:

Baby care duties include:

• Cleaning, bathing and changing of diapers
• Assist in feeding of babies
• Taking note of babies’ temperature, feeding pattern, mental/physical behaviour, and/or other necessary information
• Monitoring of babies’ growing progress
• Guide parents in infection control and baby safety measurements
• Ensure Baby Safety
• Umbilical Care
• Oral and Eye Care
• Assist in any other duties as required by the supervisor or manager

Mummy Care Duties Include:

• Monitoring of Mummies' recovery progress
• Guiding mummies in breastfeeding

Working Hours

• 2 x Morning shifts (preferably 1 weekend and 1 weekday)

From $120 per shift onwards
