Overview
A Site Manager is a crucial role responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of construction projects at the site level. They ensure that projects are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget. As a Site Manager, you’ll collaborate with various stakeholders, manage resources, and maintain safety standards.
Responsibilities
1) Project Coordination:
- Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors to ensure flawless project execution.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, and technical feasibility.
- Monitor project progress and manage changes in scope, schedule, and costs.
- Ensure timely delivery of projects.
2) Resource Management:
- Allocate resources effectively to meet project requirements.
- Maintain relationships with third-party vendors.
- Oversee subcontractors and contracted staff.
3) Safety and Quality Assurance:
- Conduct safety inspections to ensure compliance with construction and site safety standards.
- Minimize project risks through effective risk management practices.
- Uphold quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
4) Stakeholder Communication:
- Liaise with clients, architects, surveyors, and other professionals.
- Report project progress to management and stakeholders.
- Manage client relationships.
5) Team Leadership:
- Supervise workers, ensuring they remain engaged and focused during work periods.
- Foster a collaborative team environment.
- Solve problems and address any issues promptly.
Prerequisites
6) Site Knowledge:
- Familiarity with site operations and procedures.
- Understanding of construction processes.
7) Certifications and Technical Competence:
- Possession of CSOC/BCSS certifications is compulsory.
- Experienced/some base knowledge with electrical, control systems, HVAC system etc. is preferred.
Working Hours
Full-Time: Based on-site.
Working Days: Monday to Friday (5 days per week).
Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM each day.
