Job Duties & Responsibilities

1. Design, planning, implementation of Business China Youth Knowledge (BCYK) programme with reference to the objectives. This includes the programme structure, compulsory and elective modules and certification process.

7. Billing Support: Assisting with billing processes, including collecting co-pays and processing insurance claims.
8. Laboratory Sample Management: Preparing and handling laboratory samples, ensuring proper labeling and transport.
9. Hygiene and Safety Compliance: Maintaining cleanliness and following infection control protocols within the clinic.
10. Patient Education: Providing basic information to patients about procedures, medications, and health practices as directed by healthcare professionals.

Core Duties:

•⁠ ⁠Practice standard precautions and wear full personal protective equipment (PPE) during all work activities.

•⁠ ⁠Rinse all soiled surgical supplies and equipment and prepare them for mechanical cleaning.

•⁠ ⁠Assist in the assembling of simple instrument sets, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

•⁠ ⁠Ensure that all sterilized goods after sterilization are placed on the correct shelves, maintaining proper organization and inventory control.

•⁠ ⁠Load and unload supplies and equipment from terminal sterilizers, following proper procedures to prevent contamination.

Additional Duties:

•⁠ ⁠Pre-rinse medical equipment used in operating theatres to prepare for mechanical washing.

•⁠ ⁠Retrieve washed equipment, dry, ensure quality control and repack items into designated medical sets with accuracy and care.

•⁠ ⁠Load packed medical sets into the sterilization machine, ensuring all sets meet sterilization guidelines and quality standards.

•⁠ ⁠Perform portering duties as needed, assisting with the transport of supplies, equipment, and other materials within the facility.

•⁠ ⁠Complete any other duties as assigned by the department-in-charge, contributing to the smooth operation of the sterile processing department.

Job Requirements:

Minimum PSLE Certificate or equivalent

Able to read and write in simple English

Able to work on rotating shifts (including weekends & PH)

Able to work overnight shifts
