• Compile monthly Quality Department related reports
• Assist in training management, to conduct training for QA SOPs / quality-related process such as GxP requirements and to verify warehouse conducted training as per training schedule. (Deviation report will be issued if found non-compliant).

Assisting in other QA-Related tasks (10%)

• Back up PIC of Quality Compliance in the absence of PIC.

Education and Experience

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and review company policies.
• Advise management on the company’s compliance with laws and regulations.
• Assess company operations to determine compliance risk.
• Documents drafting, including letter or email.
• Support projects and co-ordinate Company activities as assigned.
• Maintain proper and timely filing system, both in shared folder and hardcopy.

Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in law, finance, business management, or a related field.
• Possess at least 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Good knowledge of legal requirements and procedures.
• A team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, attention to details, organized, meticulous and independent.
• Advantageous for candidate who has relevant experience and or knowledge in ISO.

Key Duties / Responsibilities

o Implementation, administration, updates Quality Assurance manual and procedures, policies, programs and systems.

o Audit and inspect overall factory condition according to SFA, HACCP requirement

o Lead in sustaining SFA- ISO 22000/HACCP yearly surveillance audit

o Report factory daily products safety and hygiene performance, analyse and provide assurance to top Management

o Record all QC documents in factory and whole company

o Analyse quality of raw and finished products

o Establish necessary procedures or work instruction to accommodate inspection needs

o Ensure production process is under control as specficiation

o Conduct suppliers’ quality audits for compliance, prepare quality and feedback reports.

o Assists on the supplier/customers' questionnaires/feedback/complaints

o Assists in resolving customer quality and safety concerns

o To liaise with authorities (eg: SFA) on related Food Safety / License issues when required.

o Conduct hygiene training, daily inspection of process workers, process rooms and related areas

o In charge of health certificate application and laboratory reports arrangement and maintenance of such records.

o Audit critical categories for quality integrity and food safety.

o Any other QA/QC duties as assigned by the company

Requirements

· Diploma/Degree in Food Science/Food Technology/Microbiology or related disciplines.

· Minimum 2-4 years of relevant working in Quality and Regulatory related field in Food, preferably from FMCG

· Knowledge of Food/Product regulatory requirement and registration/licensing requirement

· Familiar with manufacturing/sampling processes and retailer QA/QC practices

· Experience in HACCP/ISO 22000 and Food safety is preferable.

· To ensure the efficient and effective running of the GL, AR, AP, PPE and cash accounting functions of the Company.

· To ensure timely month-end and year-end closing and reporting of the Company accounts in accordance with GAAP and the Stamford Tyres Group accounting policy.

· To ensure timely month-end and year-end MSOR reporting per Management's requirement (both at HQ and locally).

· To be responsible for the payroll and human resource functions of the Company – including salary disbursements, staff benefits administration, health insurance coverage, work permit applications, etc.

· To prepare annual budget and cash flow forecasts for management reporting purposes.

· To be responsible for the internal controls over the assets of the Company – particularly inventory, accounts receivables and cash per Group Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

· To review and manage the adequacy of insurance coverage process together with the Head of Operations to ensure the Company's assets, liabilities and contingencies are adequately covered at all times.

Job Description:

• Assist in implementing, updating, and maintaining certified quality management systems (ISO 22000, HACCP, Halal and MSC certification) in coordination with third-party certification bodies.
• Conduct quality control checks for incoming raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
• Support production operations by troubleshooting quality issues and ensuring products meet required specifications before, during, and after production.
• Coordinate QC sample shipments and testing with external laboratories, ensuring timely and accurate testing processes.

• Liaise with government agencies and certification bodies regarding product registrations and certifications.
• Monitor and implement corrective actions based on inspection findings, working with suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues effectively.
• Conduct periodic food safety and hygiene inspections, providing training where needed to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
• Assist with procurement operations for consumables, including maintaining approved supplier lists, tracking pricing, and managing delivery timelines.

Requirement:

• WSQ Certification in Food Hygiene and Halal Certification is a must.
• Minimum of 10 years of QA/QC experience, preferably in the frozen food manufacturing sector.
• In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control standards (HACCP, GMP, ISO standards).
• Familiarity with sensory evaluation techniques and microbiological testing.
• Physically fit to work and experience in cold room environments.
• Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and a positive working attitude. Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Effective communication in both English and Mandarin to collaborate effectively with Mandarin/English-speaking cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Flexibility to perform overtime (OT) when required, especially during last-minute requests to meet operational needs.
