The Event Executive is responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of events at Mondrian Singapore Duxton. This role requires a proactive approach to client servicing, logistical coordination, and attention to detail. The Event Executive will collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure the smooth delivery of events that exceed guest expectations.

How your day looks like?

Event Planning & Coordination

• Assist clients in finalizing event requirements, including venue setup, menu selection, and audiovisual needs.
• Prepare event proposals, contracts, and banquet event orders (BEOs) with clear and concise details.
• Liaise with internal teams (catering, banquet, housekeeping, front office) to coordinate event logistics.

Client Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing personalized service and attention.
• Conduct site inspections and pre-event meetings to ensure all client needs are addressed.
• Handle client inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns promptly.

Event Execution

• Ensure proper setup and execution of events according to client specifications and hotel standards.

Administrative Duties

Requirements

• Education: Diploma or degree in Hospitality, Event Management, or a related field.
• Experience: 1-2 years of experience in event management or hospitality, preferably in a hotel setting.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in event management tools, CRM systems, and MS Office Suite.

• To assist the Director of Sales, Assistant Director of Sales, and Sales Manager/Executive in sales operations including reserving weddings, meetings, and conferences, coordinating groups, general administrative functions, and arranging Sales Blitzes and giveaways

Food Safety, Sanitation Standards :

• Prepare for and lead annual HACCP, ALLSAFE, SGClean audit

• Ensure the strictest compliance to food safety standards and management for the Rooms, F&B and Culinary divisions.
• Conduct regular checks on the maintenance/upgrade of sanitation and hygiene standards to ensure safety of food served to guests and employees.
• Ensure all touch-points and work areas conform to required Hygiene and Sanitation levels.

Summary

The Senior Sales Manager reporting to Director of Sales is responsible for identifying, developing and managing accounts within specific segments and develop new accounts or business opportunities within corporate travel industry/leisure generating and maximizing business potential of designated portfolio through daily sales activities.

The Senior Sales Manager will assist the Director of Sales to accelerate corporate, or Leisure client base by expanding the hotel’s business through executing the developed strategic plans to drive measurable and incremental sales revenue meeting revenue targets set within Mondrian. This position requires an excellent communication skill, both written and verbal and to have a proactive and growth mind-set to work towards a successful hotel sales strategy.

Business Development

• Solicit new and existing accounts to meet/exceed revenue goals through telephone solicitation, outside sales calls, site inspections and written communication.
• Meet or exceed personal sales solicitation call goals based on a minimum of 5 daily appointments covering existing and prospective accounts.
• Responsible for administration of all support services including but not limited to responding to emails and correspondence, input and maintenance of databases.
• Maintains a high profile within trade and professional associates dealing with their market area/segment(s)
• Interacts with individuals outside the hotel within their sales area including, but not limited to clients, local hotel associations and other members of the local community
• Solicit corporate, consortia and leisure accounts directly and jointly with others through the preparation, execution and completion of Action Plans
• Implements all Sales Action Plans related to their sales area as outlined in the Revenue/Business Plan
• Within established parameters, quote and negotiate prices with customer representatives confirming reservations by letter and drawing up contracts; sign for the hotel and obtain customer signature to close the transaction

• When appropriate, and with agreement with the DOSM, to attend major travel functions (trade shows, associations) that deal specifically with their marketing responsibility
